Default buying a 2nd hand car HELP!

    Guys, I need your inputs.

This is my first time buying a car and wala jud koy alam about ani maski gamay. The car I'm planing to buy is Toyota Vios 1.5s 2010 for P350,000.

The car's odometer is currently at 21,000. Since the car is already 7 years old, is 21k too good to be true? Also, when I asked the seller, registration is from Cagayan de Oro. Since gibaha ang CDO last 2011 sa bagyong ondoy, is it possible nga flooded na ang car that's why 21k sad ang odo?

In short, 21k odo plus cdo registered. Sounds shady, right?

This will be my first car ever and P350k is no joke so I hope you guys could help me. TIA!

2nd hand ra gyud imo option bro? cash na nimo ang 350k?

if you can still manage the monthly, i strongly suggest pag brandnew nalang... sa imo 350k, gamay nalang imo monthly ana... labi nag mga small cars imo kuhaon... just about time mag brand new ron kay hapit na mo saka ang tax, hehehe...

if you are not willing sa brandnew tungod sa monthly, i suggest pangita og mga repo units from bank (BPI to be exact)... naa na silay warehouse sa BPI mandaue (hiway) atbang gyud sa veco sub-station... daghan na ka options anang 350k, usually mga Kia...

bai bim! long time no hear.. abi nko pc related lang ka active automotive sad diay haha!

Back on topic. I actually only have 200k on hand and the 150k will be financed. Kaning vios 2010 1.5s is ganahan jud ko sa looks and it's 21k mileage, not to mention it's top of the line sa vios. To be honest, wala jud koy plan magkuha ug sakyanan. But when I saw this car, I think I fell inlove? Hadlok lang jud kos 21k mileage and CDO registered.

@TS: Possible flooded na boss. The odo oks ra kaayo pero bati if dili Cebu plate although pwde raman na diri ma rehistro. Then the price is medyo mahal kaayo kaysa mga Cebu cars na 2nd hand. I would suggest ari nalang palit sa Cebu ug 2nd hand instead kaysa diha ka sa CDO, not unless taga CDO ka. For vios 2010 maski top of the line pana I think 280-300k for the right price ana sir.

I would highly suggest kana gi advice ni Sir Bim, maypa imo nalang na i DP ug brand new kay less hassle ug less maintenance, ikaw pa naka una gamit.

ideal gyud kayo mo palit ug Bnew vehicle ron either in cash or amortization kay this coming July '17, inig implement sa new tax, maka lumos ang price na sa mga bnew car... ggggrrrr...

and for sure, mo saka ang price sa mga used ones pud ani labi na mo kick-in and law of supply & demand...
