    salamat sa info and yes hindi po ako nagSLI kasi overkill na magSLI for my use.

    yep distro po sila. yung policy nila is 'clean outsides of the card w/o opening it because it will void the warranty and benchmark it to see if there's problems.' Tama ba yun? Kaya nga mas nagalit ako gumastos ako ng LBC para linisin lang nila yung labas and run benchmarks eh PI kung ganun lang kayang-kaya kong gawin yun.

    may problema ba talaga yang card mo or pinadala mo lang dahil tingin may corrosion?

    Meron talaga, nag-artifact ng 2x in 2 weeks on the 23rd month of the warranty. Yung 1st artifacting nga yung mas grabe kasi gisulayan nako irestart, kinahinglan nako irestart ng 3x bago magdisplay. 2 weeks after nag-artifact nanaman. Dun ko na pinaship sa distro.

    mahirap yan, dahil intermittent artifacting lang pala. pag test nila dun if d nag artifact ibabalik lang talaga yan.

    anyway, there's this issue but, to all enthusiasts here, is it possible to RMA directly to Palit?

    the failure mechanism (corrosion on the SLI contact fingers) doesn't relate to the failure mode (artifacts) as experienced by TS... and is in anyway, both are not related to the problem seen by TS on the artifacts...

    by the way, TS, what's your PSU? have you tried another PSU on your GPU?

    Corsair HX850 pero sige for the sake of argument I try ko nalang i-test yung GTX 970 sa isang computer store, pero baka masunog ito or hindi ba hazard ito baka masira ko rin yung rig nila eh. Kasi parang FULL BLAST (100%) ang fan ng gpu and w/o Display pag itry nako i-on.

    if i put myself in their place, i will also tell you there is no reason for us to open up or entirely clean the item IF from our test(benchmark as they say) the artifact you said did not appear. i will just say probably the same that there are corrosion somewhere to "justify" what you think was the issue(in this case, intermittent). kaya i said mahirap yan because its not a re-occuring problem or its not happening each time the device is turned on. if artifacting man lang yan it could have been just overheating, software problems or power-related problem(and i do not just mean a power supply related problem). heck i would even re-install windows or even run linux jan just to isolate any software related problem.

    IMHO lang

    So mali ang diagnosis nila and in truth, wala sila ginawa kundi linisin lang ang labas? What 'RMA services' do they do pala kung hindi din pala bubuksan?

    And from what you've read they're totally free from liability na?
