the board is working with both ddr2 800 and ddr3 1333 < tested separately of course >

I was using a GA-990FXA-UD3 cuz nag plan ko ug crossfire which wala na dayun.
Bisag naka High End paka naa jud nay drop, on that video 30+ish fps minimum is playable. 1050p isn't bad samot naka ultra settings sa HD 7850+FX6300, bisan pag e 1080p nas author video kaya kay na, timingan lang wala cyay 1080p monitor.

Naay daghan diha naka 1080p nga same setup but still playable, note nga wala pana gi OC ang FX-6300 but that's another story.

The question is sa FPS nga iyang gi drop playable cya or disappointment? Kung imung tubag disappointment, it's your system or preference not the one on the video.

50 dropping to mid 30s is not playable.

I don't know about your experience pero, from my experience, switching to an i5 solved the following problems in BF4:

    1. Gpu bottleneck (GPU usage only 80% on high settings. It gets worse on Ultra) (99% kung mag i5)
    2. Fps drops to mid 30s and 20s
    3. Siege of Shanghai certain spot sa map mu drop gyud ang fps
    4. Stuttering in large 64 player maps sometimes gets annoying

I OC my fx to 4ghz only gave me 1-2fps. But didn't solve the drops.

I'm not a PC gamer anymore (now cge2 motor2). The above jst my 2 cents based on my experience.

What else did you change aside from mobo and cpu? How about RAM and VC?

All settings below are 1080p, ultra settings with FX6300 cpu's. daghan ni sa "youTube"

1st Video: Not 64 players (Watch the deployment screen), Operation Locker nga map is not cpu heavy.
    2nd Video: Not multiplayer.

I've changed the Ram and Mb only. Same gihapon performance. The upcoming FXs from AMD might be a game changer.

    Battlefield 4 | PC | Official Site
    Recommended requirements
    OS
    WINDOWS 8 64-BIT
    PROCESSOR
    AMD SIX-CORE CPU
    INTEL QUAD-CORE CPU
    MEMORY
    8 GB
    GRAPHICS CARD
    AMD RADEON HD 7870
    NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 660
    GRAPHICS MEMORY
    3 GB
    HARD DRIVE
    30 GB

Conclusion nako dili ang FX-6300 ang bottleneck dri kung di ang HD7870, ang recommended vram 3GB, ultra settings ka maka experience jud kag di mao.

BIGGEST "across the board" game changer is DX12 ......

No amount of optimization or api will reverse the game. Only a huge improvement in ipc will. Forget clocks, forget corecount, forget lithography, forget consumption.

Intel controls the norms. Unless amd feeds each and every software developer we know of.
