because if that number actually translate to better performance, AMD could be the performance king now.
this reality.
I get A LOT more for my $$$$ with AMD than with Intel (ask "internet shop" owners). I can buy more "performance" with AMD compared to Intel specially on "gaming/web browsing".
Given an equal amount of money, I can buy better components to outperform Intel cpu's rig - specially for GPU heavy software....AMD could easily become "king" if they spend more on thier marketing division, specially on 'gamers' side. Unfortunately, Intel spends 4 to 1 against AMD when it comes to advertising.
"Marketing" is one reason Intel costs more than AMD...... Most, if not all, LAN fest I've been through are sponsored by Intel. Who do you think provides cpu's or mobo on "benchmarking" mostly? Not AMD for sure....
this is also reality......
