    this reality.
I get A LOT more for my $$$$ with AMD than with Intel (ask "internet shop" owners). I can buy more "performance" with AMD compared to Intel specially on "gaming/web browsing".

Given an equal amount of money, I can buy better components to outperform Intel cpu's rig - specially for GPU heavy software....AMD could easily become "king" if they spend more on thier marketing division, specially on 'gamers' side. Unfortunately, Intel spends 4 to 1 against AMD when it comes to advertising.

"Marketing" is one reason Intel costs more than AMD...... Most, if not all, LAN fest I've been through are sponsored by Intel. Who do you think provides cpu's or mobo on "benchmarking" mostly? Not AMD for sure....

    this is also reality......

unsa d i your current rig bro.if i may ask you and how much it had cost you

hopefully somebody here will make a same priced intel rig just for the heck of comparison then maybe we can arrange a benchmark

just for the heck of a challenge on performance lang.

because i have been reading a lot benchmarking sites from thg to AMD biased sites to individuals who tested amd and intel because of same reason you have and its been proven FOR ENTHUSIAST and GAMING CLASS and up, intel owns the hill

internet owners are a different level

PhP12K rig for piso-piso is an AMD turf and thats reality

INTEL IGP of intel Gseries | i3 | i5 SUCKS BIGTME.

and it would be impractical to use the new i7 with iris pro for piso piso.

that's why processors are group according to buyers level

entry level | mid range | high and extreme

for sure AMD can't par what intel have at high and extreme level in terms of performance

Naa na nako ang FX6300 ni Jinkazama eheheh. Just for the heck of it, unsa kaha nindot na game e benchmark ani between my i5 2400? My only components to add: 8gb ram and GTX 750Ti 2gb @1080p. My common games between these two are only BF3, WoT, & DoTA2.

Bro don't trust "Single Player Benchmarks''. My first cpu was an Athlon triple core. BF3 maintain gihapon ang 60fps on single player games.

I said this on the thread somewhere but I'll reiterate.....

Can't compare cores against AMD and Intel....Intel wins when comparing equal number of cores.
    Compettion is in PRICE DIFFERENCE.
I can get more cores, faster freq. and MORE cache for lot less money with AMD....funds saved on AMD cpu goes to more powerfull VC.

It will come out close with my rig if your i5-4460 is paired with GTX760.
Much bigger difference if I matched my Phenom X6 with better, more powerful, VC (example; GTX970) from $$$ saved buying AMD's cpu although total expense for whole rig will be in equal footing.

    Hope I made this clear.......

mao ni akoang experience aning BF3 pud ai...

kaning BF3, gaan ra man ni'g GFX engine compared sa BF4. before, on my i3-2120 w/ GTX 660 Ti SLI on BF3, multiple players online (64 players max on all maps) w/ 4X MSAA and ultra GFX quality preset, ok ra gyud kaayo ang fps na gihatag nya... but pag upgrade nko'g GTX 670 SLI, kaubo ang i3-2120, dili maka pagawas sa full power sa GTX 670 SLI... sayang ang gi bayaran nko sa GPU maong, nag upgrade ko's i5-2550K then OC'ed it to 4.6 MHz (for daily use). maximum attained stable OC'ed kay 4.8 GHz... had hit the 5.0 GHz OC ani nya kaso, dili ma stable... need to remove some mem modules para ani'ng 5 GHz target... duwa2x lang sa OC'ed numbers ba...

anyhow, kaning FX AMD CPUs, daghan ni sila'g cores but they are no "true single cores" but, they are "modules on floating point w/ shared resources"... in pairs ni sila. mura2x pud ni'g Hyperthreading sa Intel. acknowledged man pud ang AMD sa aning design nila na gigamit sa FX na inferior compared sa competition maong, nag focus ni sila'g maayo for the next FX generation...

if the game will utilize more cores, most likely on the 2 CPUs (FX-6300 & i5-4460), it would be intel that will be on top. but, the fps is negligible to the human eye & brain... charing... hehehehe...

so between the 2 CPUs (FX-6300 & i5-4460) on the same GPU, which is better and/or important for you, gaming fps or savings?... ang tubag ani kani, depende ra pud ni's tao kun unsa ang iyahang priority... ehehehe...
