Have you tried the process of dialysis on your automatic transmission?

yes tried it....diha ko sa shell escario....they also remove my oil pan and clean the AT filter. good thing it was washable and still in good shape.

what's your rig? and how many liters did you put back in?

Is ATF dialysis the same as ATF Flush which is done using a machine to drain all of the oil (100%)? Or it is just the simple drain?

pajero....all in all 13 liters....but I think 12 liters will do since by then the output fluid is already fresh.
I was the one who insist to add another liter just to make sure.

yes it is done using a machine.... two hoses in the machine......one hose goes to the ATF cooler and the other one is connected to the pan inlet. engine was turned on during the process and transmission was engage as well.

good. mine is pajero too. FM. i read about this atf dialysis in tsikot and I'm looking here where can I have my rig go through such process. I changed atf some two months ago, took down the pan and cleaned the atf filter. I think it wasn't enough. may I know what atf did you use and how much did it cost you. thank you sir.

that done using a machine sir. complete flushing

according to my research boss, the drain method is safer esp. for high mileage vehicles. i think okay ra man imo gibuhat. just repeat the process one or 2 more times so will get rid of all the old oil.

i need to flush completely all the atf in my rigs system, considering that per sir alrorskyz' info he filled in his pajero 13 liters in all. when I drained mine the old way, only five liters of atf I topped off.
