wait.. why would you change 1155 to 1150? for what practical reason? kai kung mas bug-at ang weigh sa practicality, go for it ayaw lang ug kabalaka sa BIR kai imo man sad jud nang obligation sad.. but if ang kahasol sa BIR mas hasol pa sa imong pag-ilis ug mobo, then ayaw nalang jud.. besides magamet paman jud na kung dli pang gaming/rendering/etc basta kamao lang jud mu-maintain daun dli lang jud i-abuse ang unit.. if dugay na kaayo ang serbisyo sa imong 1155 then i think ginansya naka ana so if you wanna go for 1150 i-consider nalang sad jud ang pag settle sa BIR..

haven't tried changing mobo but i've tried changing from dual core to i3 in a 1155 walay blema.. for mobo i think medyo hasul na gamay tunogd sa mga drivers and etc..

padayon lang ba ghapon naa sa imo hardisk? wala nay i install?

what if ilisan ug 1150 nga socket motherboard and upgrade ug proc?
mag reformat ba jd sa hard disk?

    hoping for your response

    thanks
1155-1155 , same socket different model < h61 - H67 or B75 > no need to reformat, just minor installation and restart with win xp | vista | win7

with win xp vanilla SP1, 2 and 3 <non edited > , start with CD , press any key to start frm CD > press any key > searching for old win xp installation > found c:\windows blah, blah > select it then press R for repair

with win vista and 7, just let it install and heal itself

have not tried it with 8 and 8.1 yet.

1155| 1156 - 1150 < depende sa model sa chipset> some does not need to be reformatted, some need to be

you will know that it needs to be reformatted if it will show bluescreen.

with AMD, you don't need to reformat if same sockets ra.samot if same chipset.

the easiest way is to copy the installer of the os to your HDD

    then re-install it.

on first reboot > turn off > transfer to new socket mobo > the installation will continue then voila! your done when it's finished.

i have tried it to work well even on picky windows nt | 2000 | server 2008.
