question lang nya nako.

if imo motherboard ilisan ug lain model nga motherboard but same socket.
padayon lang ba ghapon naa sa imo hardisk? wala nay i install?

what if ilisan ug 1150 nga socket motherboard and upgrade ug proc?
mag reformat ba jd sa hard disk?

Kasuway ko wala na reformat. Just delete all drivers including vga.

Naay times diLi na mo lahos. Naa say times nga waLa juy problema. Tested a lot of scenarios on windows 7 only. Para sure, ako buhaton is ako ra man e SysPrep (read lang unsay limitations ani) ang OS. Ig boot kay iya ra e install all necessary drivers.

But I would still recommend fresh install para gaan ang feeling. LoLs.

kasuway ko ani boss...mo auto update ra ang OS ana..then mag ask if naa need ipa install nga mga drivers...

dli ka need mo format if same socket. Tried myself, from h81 socket 1150 to z97 socket 1150 still goes to desktop, but for stability e format lng gyud. Not so sure about from 1155 to 1150. E format nlng gyud para sure.

Tried 775 to 1156, different platforms. And 1150 laptop hdd (H series man guro ang board) to 1150 desktop Z97

There are times if mag ilis ka og mobo without formatting or doing an OS clean install sa imo HDD mo boot ra sya but there are times dli sya mo boot mag cge lang og restart ang imong OS.

If mag ilis ka og new mobo, then you need to install the drivers pd sa imong mobo if mo go through or mo boot imong OS.

Thanks guys. Ga libog jd ko. Hehe. 1155 ang mobo using now den 1150 i.ilis gd. Ang ako lang ang data base. Or ra ghapon ma backup man but d BIR so annoying hahah
