new SSD install windows 7 problem

mga bossing, patabang nya ko ninyo...

mingpalit ko ug bag.o na SSD Samsung 256GB Sata3...
then akoa siyang gibutang sa akoang MSI GX70 3BE na laptop and planning to make the SSD as the bootable drive...

Ga install nku sa windows 7, hapit na mahuman mu restart man dyud na para ma complete and installation.... after restarting is mao ni ang mubutang " DISK READ ERROR"....

already set sa bios AHCI.... the only options available sa bios is AHCI/IDE/RAID

tried and HDD installation, okay raman, mupadayun man....ikapila na nku gina format ang SSD and install fresh copy...still the same issue dyud...

Suwaye butang sa IDE kung mag reformat ka aron ma-detect .(ayw sa AHCI)
or
Basin need install SSD firmware.

if you installed with AHCI enabled, dont change it after setup... leave it that way. If you have set it to IDE mode, after setup leave it that way.

We're you able to test the SSD drive with another laptop/desktop computer? just to make sure. Kay if in case it does the same problem, bring it back to the store along with your receipt. good luck!

already installed it using the ACHI mode sa bios and the IDE trick...still the same issue, will try to check it with my RIG if mupadayun ba ug install...if dili man gani, then SSD defect dyud ni..

Anyway, try to contact the seller I think he is honoring warranty sa product. When I bought my Samsung SSDs niya, gi kuha man niya ang serial number and gi pa suwat ko sa akong name. He is a good guy, ok ra na.

yep, I know him boss hehehehe, ika duha nani nku na SSD gikan niya, ang first one is walay blema...nagkinatok lang dyud ni ang ikaduha na SSD, anyway, SSD is working fine naman sa RIG, but sa laptop, still same issue....
