Default Question before upgrading my Rig

    Currently I have

    CPU: Core i3 3220 3.30 GHz
    Mobo: MSI B75MA-G45
    RAM: 2x4GB Corsair Vengeance
    SSD: Samsung 120GB
    VC: MSI N630 GT 2GB 128bit
    PSU: Silverstone Essentials 500w
HDD: 1 TB Western Digital BLUE

Im planning to upgrade the mobo to Asus Z97-A and later VC to Asus GTX 750TiOC
and also PSU to maybe 750w Modular, still not decide which brand.

My question is, compatible ba ang i3 nako sa Asus z97-A. and for the PSU, what would you suggest?

    Thanks

Sakto si @thads_vii socket 1155 man ang i3-3220 while ang Z97 is socket 1150. Regarding sa imong PSU, overkill ra kaayo ang 750w for that build. A 400-500w from Seasonic, Corsair or Silverstone is even "more than" enough.

^ What's the use of your rig diay? for gaming? If it's for gaming, your i3 is really enough, ara ra jd na daogon sa discrete GPU nimo.

Your current setup is enough, and yes sakto sila overkill ra kaayo ang 750W, ang imong 500W Silverstone PSU will do! If there is a need to change your HW part, ang imong GPU needs an upgrade. .Asus GTX 750ti is a great choice and upgrade, this card is not power hungry so enough ra kaayo imong current PSU jd! And also getting a GPU would depend on what games you are playing, what settings you prefer, 720p, 1080p, etc. .

    What's your current monitor diay?

    Asus Z97 is Socket 1150 so buy an i5 or i7 Socket1150 as well.that i3 3220 is an LGA1155

700w Modular, mag SLI or CF ka? sobra ra for ur need if dili, might as well saved the extra for a nicer VC like GTx760 | R9 280x

anyways, ThermalTake Smart SE 730W Modular is PhP2650 - 2850 its a gud PSU with an 87+ Bronze rating

    NICE SSD you got there

mag gaming ka? or serious work ra..
