I don't like these "keyboard warriors" that are only brave once he/she's online on some message board like iSTORYA. Local politicians in the Philippines doesn't even have people who look around these websites and report it to them. If online is the only means to reach out to them, then message them through Facebook or Twitter. It's getting annoying when same people here ranting the same issues in every thread here.
Keyboard Warriors = Slacktivists
Do something. Join a political party. Attend a public rally or protest about something you're passionate about. Donate any humble amount, donate non-perishable items, or offer your free time to volunteer for a non-profit organization. Send letters to politicians and tell them you're tracking their promises. Make these politicians accountable. Ranting on issues through online forum is not enough. Democracy is not just about voting and having the right of free speech, it's also about the RIGHT to participate in civil engagement.
