for your ram, kaya ra sa H61 mobo bro but, 2 x 8 GB ang module. personally, wla ko nag gamit ug USB 3. puro lang USB 2 ni akoang mga external drives (back-up HDDs and thumb drives)... dili ko picky ani nila... hehehe... pero, in theory, mas faster ang USB 3... dako kaay sila'g transfer rate difference...

@alexyap using 16gb RAM if you're into gaming, well dli na nimo ma consume ang 16gb. The question here is that how will you use your PC? for what purpose? if mag 16gb RAM ka as what you mentioned di ka gusto ma LAG imong PC, in fact it's not your RAM makes your PC faster, in the first place light applications and even gaming will not consume the entire 8gb, how much more you'll use 16GB RAM? So the point is, if it's not consuming the whole capacity, unsa reason nga mo LAG? Unless you're into 3D Application you need more RAMs. RAM's are just needed if you're using heavy applications. Using 16GB RAM will not optimize your computer. If I were you, I will spend my extra money for an SSD rather than getting the 16GB RAM, so I recommend 2x4GB RAM and give my extra budget for an SSD, and with regards to your question, yes intel i3 is enough! ang imo nlng kuwang is Video Card. And your current PSU can carry enough for the video card that boss lloyd recommended.

This link would help you either getting the 16GB RAM or 8GB RAM.

I see. if you're into video editing, it still depends on what application you're using, on how heavy it is.
