Murag dumot njud ning imoha sa religion pre hehe... Pero bitaw on my side, reasonable man pud nga dili naka mutuo sa religion nowadays, according pa gane kay thomas robinson naa siyay giraise nga pangutana "Can a truly contemporary not be an atheist?". The reason behind this wisdom is that daghan religion karon or should I say, majority of religions now is not inclined biblically which in the other sense, not genuine. Daghan alterations nahitabo and of course, daghan tao wala kaangay ana nga mga alteration mao daghan basis nganung daghan dili mutuo ug religion, hell and heaven.
But being a Christian, mao ni akong stand. Having religion allows us to be free because sa akong experience, mao ni siya ang first avenue offering me certain truths and something to believe in. Without that being my first avenue, dili siguro ko ma mold into this being logical and rational person I am today. Imagine being born on this world without anything or anyone to teach you, makexpect baka nga mulambo pud ka as a person? Lets assume nga mali tu tanan ilang gitudlo, pero at least naa kay drive nga seek further truths than that. Kung wala man lang kay ginapanghawakan sa sugod like "to prove nga mali sila", would you still bother to listen, to research and to look for those factual ideas?
Siguro daghan sa atoa karon diri niagi pagka theist before naging atheist or agnostic but lets go back sa paborito nato nga saying "ang di marunong lumingon sa pinanggalingan, di makakarating sa paroroonan".
Admit it or not, Religion offered you a lot of things from being critical, to being obedient, moral and honest pero dili lang na ninyo makita kay LOGICAL og FACTUAL ra kaayo mga tao karon. Bisan pag muingon tag WALA gyud sense ang religion, but the fact that it helped you before, wala siguro kay valid ground to attack the same.
