Must try Cream Puffs

Don't believe the hype.. I bought a box today and they didn't taste good.. Bahaw ang dough and the cream tasted like Nestle cream. I don't mean to offend anyone but the dough tasted like raw egg whites and it had a funny texture and the filling was flat and they barely put any cream. Maybe wala nay quality control coz naa man sad niingon nga lami "daw", will not go there again. Sorry to say so but I'm just being honest kay tuyu-on baya ang country mall.

Maybe the quality went down because the bakers are filipinos now. You should try the one in tokyo shinjuku station.
I will buy again this week to see if indeed the quality went down.

Two boxes cool!
I bought another box yesterday. Too addictive!
Problem is the korean owner was not there and now mostly employees are baking. I notice the quality go down a bit with the outer shell very slightly overbaked. That slight overbake is enough to change the taste for me. So from 9 rating I give it an 8 comparing to the 10 of japanese chou creams. Lol. I'm a picky food critic.

I posted before that this could happen. That is the problem with filipino food. Quality is below standard.

Can't be helped. With the mentality na "pwede na yan" that's when quality goes down the drain. Employees don't f@#king care.
That's why its so important for the owner to be hands on with their biz.

actually di kaayo ko ganahan anang i blame dayon sa pinoy pero I will have to agree with what you said.

Pagpalit man gud nako gipangutana man gud nako if lami ba, then makita nimo sa nawng sa tindera ba pag ingon niya "ay sulayi lang" nga wa jud lami ilang gibuhat pero ilaha lang gibaligya just for the sake nga naay mabaligya. looking back at what happened i think kahibaw sad gani to siya nga bahaw iyang gihatag..walay koy doubt sa previous posts nga lami jud, and i also think tungod lang sa wa taronga sa mga "gisaligan" mao nang wa na jud lami ron.

I also agree nga owners should be hands on with their businesses, ang mga taw man gud di kasabot that in order for them to earn as trabahante, they should help the business prosper sad kay mao manay gapa kaon nila ug sa ilang pamilya. daghan kaayo di kasabot ana nga concept. and tungod kay gi think nila "ahh tindera ra bitaw ko" or "di man ako tag-iya ani" bati na nuon ang ila performance. sayang kaayo ang nindot nga business, it will go down the drain and their opportunity for success with it, kay inig close, sila mabaw nasad sugod sa zero.

First nako try sa Choux wa ko ganahi... but the second try (a month or so after the first) kay lami man diay. Maybe this time because bag-o pang bake ang akong nakaon na cream puff?

The thing with chewy junior is that the outer core is rough, thick and tasteless. Then the cream inside is 1 pathetic teaspoon full. Its too small for the price. The colors look nice but I'm not sold on the product.Another suggestion to try for not so bad creampuff is the one in Leona's Cakes And Pastries at SM.

Where ni dapita sa country mall? I have to see for myself if wa ba jud lami? and sayang wa na sa SM ning chewy junior open pa ni sila sa jmall?
