anyone that tested their HD 7770, HD 7850, HD 7870 and HD 7950 on FAH? palihug ko'g share sa PPD ninyo para naa ko'y idea sa performance nila sa FAH... based sa akoang nabasahan diri sa net, better suited ang Nvidia GPUs for the job... here's the summary...
> Nvidia Kepler: is faster on single precision computation feature
> Nvidia Fermi: is faster compared to the Keplers equivalent GPUs due to its double precision computation feature
> Nvidia GPUs: is optimized and faster compared to their AMD class GPUs in processing PAH since it is "floating point" calculation and any other apps that is optimized to use such calculation type...
> AMD GPUs: is slower on PAH w/respect to their Nvidia class GPUs since it is designed to speed up its processing on "interger" calculation... AMD GPUs are optimized for Bitcoin mining as such app is design for this "integer" computation... any other interger based computation will be better off on AMD's offerings...
The difference above gives us a glance why one is faster than the other and vice versa on specific apps and even on specific games...
now, sa kani na info na akoang na kuha sa net, the best "price to performance" ratio for FAH would be the GTX 660 Ti... due to its faster clock frequency and 1344 CUDA cores... the same ra man sila'g price range sa GTX 760 (w/ 1152 CUDA cores)... but, in gaming performance, it is the other way around. the refresh is way faster... for my purpose as a FAH rig, i would be better off to buy the GTX 660 Ti... hhhhmmm...
I want to know AMD's offering actual PPD labi na sa HD 7870 and HD 7950... please share your's... basin pa diay, gamay lang kaayo ang PPD difference nila sa comparable Nvidia GPU... ilisan nako ang GPU sa entertainment PC man gud... para sa ani na purpose... para maka share ta's "For the Greater Good"... naa dako na purpose in life ning atoang PC DIY passion... charing... bwehehehehe...
