As long as only 1 ovary is affected, then you still have a good chance of getting pregnant. I found out mine through an ultrasound a few months before I got pregnant.

I am on metformin right now which also helps me lose weight and also taking low dose birth control pills. The only side effect I have is my breast growth. Hows your pregnancy?

I already gave birth last Dec. I have not yet checked back on my PCOS, haven't taken anything for it too.

What I meant, how was the whole pregnancy like? Did you experience anything out of the ordinary? Congratulations!

I am also sorry about your loss sis, but things happen for a reason. But usually, we just don't know exactly why it has to happen.

Hahaha my bad. Actually, I had a rough pregnancy not b'coz of PCOS but b'coz of rubella measles at my 1st trimester. The OB even though nga "dinala" ra daw from pregnancy. But it was not. Since she forwarded me to an infectious disease specialist who confirmed it was rubella.

Aside from PCOS, my uterus is also retroverted or tipped backwards. So far it did not cause any problem w/ my pregnancy.

It was, I had spotting, and a cervical polyp formed but it detached on its own. The 36weeks and 2days felt like years, but it was worth it. My baby is now 6months turning 7. He does have congenital anomalies. But he is an active baby so far. I've never battled weight this much before... my little guy is having a hard time putting on weight, he's far behind the scale but we let him gain on his own pace. We do have a few issues, but it's normal, for a baby who have gone through such ordeal. Nevertheless, he's a happy baby. We're so thankful that he made it through the storms and hurricanes.
