Ferdinand Marcos was a potentially great president...
But along the way, he was corrupted due to greed and influenced by Imelda. Maybe, if FM was single and without any family attachments, things might have been different.
Taking all factors into consideration, it is my opinion that President Marcos was the best President the Philippines has ever produced.
I beg to differ. Bataan Nuclear Power Plant uses pressurized water reactors, while the Fukushima Daiichi plant in Japan is a very old technique that uses boiling water reactor technology.
* Our Nuclear reactor does not directly stand on an active faultline but it could be near one, which is still safe.
* The plant is protected against tsunami as it is located 18 meters above sea level.
To know the truth behind the Fukushima recovery program, check the first post on this thread created by Rodsky. Very informative.

I didn't know that attending church seminaries and convents earn you a Nuclear Physicist' and Nuclear Analytics/ Engineering degree.
