let us say you're the aggressor and you're on my way to ram my ship.i'll shoot as many rounds as needed until you are eliminated.it's not about being trigger happy and i'm damn serious about what i just said. there's even what we call during training as "non standard response" that means shoot as many round needed at a single threat until it's down.you only have the right to comment if you have been to a situation such as this and received training for such.if not you're just another sucker for commie propaganda.

And you recieved training and had experience similar to this? then why aren't you aware of the international maritime laws between military and civilian vessels, if what you're saying is legal then have you heard of the sea sheperd? they'd be dead a hundred times over id japan went nuts with thier machine guns. As for commie propaganda, you better READ the damn news properly genius, its TAIWAN <--- NOT CHINA.

And the PHP already issued an apology admitting to its mistake probably to evade the taiwanese investigators, mind you taiwan finds out that trigger happy idiot went m-oron while on duty, we'd be in deep shit as it stands.

even Japan has the same problem Japanese water cannon attack on Taiwanese fishing boats over Senkaku dispute - Telegraph
And they actually used water cannons, NOT a rifle. As for stoping a fishing boat let the thing ram you and board it, if you start to sink thats the time to declare legal defence and start shooting with utmost prejudice. NOT CLAIMING <--- that they were trying to ram you and shooting them dead. If its your word againts theirs and you return to them a corpse, they win no matter what the argument is, common sense?

how do you think a ramming vessel straight at you be stopped? the shooting dead incident was an accident when PCG was trying to disable the vessel by shooting the engine. And northern Philippines is a gateway for drugs smugglers so PCG are usually armed.
