Archaeologists were not solely Christians but INCLUDE Jews -- so no Christian has the monopoly over the findings.

Likewise, NO Catholic priests or officials were included.

Even Atheists dont find anything wrong with the findings.

Catholicism bitaw nang Christianity, ug ang Jew got their faith from Abraham and the old testament, same beliefs.. that's why it is biased, it wouldve been substantial if another uninfluenced non-Christian site will be linked here,

you can't say for certain nga sakto na ilang interpretation sa text bro, we have every reason to doubt their interpretations.. ang first nga documented interpretation Simon bar Jonah jud bya to.. syempre expected man jud na nga i deny na sa Vatican, kay unsaon nlang ang biblical prediction right?.. now im not saying that what im saying here is factual, i dont believe in any of this in the first place,. Peter's life and the story of his demise to me is nothing but mere tradition.. now if naay nituo ug rumors diri im sorry but dili na ako..

Yes, the splendor of Vatican City is indeed out of this world. No other place on earth has the majesty of Vatican City and Catholics are proud to say that. Whenever Catholics went, they bring this notion of beauty with them that is why ALL towns in Europe has a beautiful Catholic church building -- and these works of art are aimed at glorifying the majesty of God.

No one can blame if it has acquired vast landholdings and great works of art, since it has been in existence prior to the formation of other worldly empires. Even Protestants visit the Vatican to marvel at the great artworks.

To argue that the Catholic Church owns banks is pure hogwash. The Holy See has only one bank, IOR, dedicated to its works. The Church has dedicated most of its resources in healthcare and education -- that even the United States health system will be crippled should the Holy See decides to terminate its operation. This Catholic system of healthcare and education in the US alone has benefited not only Catholics, but Protestants, Muslims and everybody else in the United States.

The wealth of the Church has been counted NOT in the amount of gold it has but in the NUMBER OF SOULS it serves.

The election of the Roman Bishop before was through popular acclamation. However, there occured some problems in this practice. Burning of the papal ballots has historical reasons. One, is to prevent political interference during the tenure of the new Pope. ""Once a vote has been counted, the old ballots are burned so that they cannot get accidentally mixed in with new ballots from the next vote. And if the vote is the last one, which elects a Pope, then burning the ballots preserves the secrecy of the vote. If a Pope knew how the cardinals voted, that could result in some form of favoritism."

INTERVIEW WITH FORMER ROMAN CATHOLIC PRIESTS & A NUN ON WHY THEY LEFT THE CHURCH OF ROME - YouTube
These are personal opinions of the former priests and nuns bro and Catholics respect them for their choice. Each has their own reason, and frustration seems to be the common denominator.

I have read the biography of Mr Brewer in fact, and Im sorry to hear that his disgust at the hypocrisy of some Catholic clergy him doubt his faith. Yet, this stream of conversion is not a one-way street -- more Protestant ministers are now converting to Catholicism at a rate of one hundred a year. The trend is, more educated Protestant ministers convert to Rome while uncatechized Catholics convert to evangelicalism.

I guess, your point is to show that as ex-Catholics, they are a reliable source of information. No. Mr. Bennett has clearly strayed away from the Catholic interpretation of the teachings. Mr Brewer unfortunately was a disappointed man by the sinners in the church.

Let us recall that throughout history, great men has betrayed Christ and His Church.

""" Quintus Septimius Florens Tertullianus, or Tertullian, (ca. 160 – ca. 220 A.D) one of the greatest defenders of early Christianity and Catholicism died in heresy. He became a follower of Montanism.
Origen, - another of the Early Fathers and whose many teaching we still use today, also died a heretic.

Yet, God's Church continues to this day. """

My point is, no matter how men betray Christ and his Church, it will last long until the Second Coming.

Exit to the Wittenberg Door: Protestant Ministers Converting to Catholicism.

It is just good to notice the joy they felt at their conversion to Catholicism. They did not malign their former faith but instead glows at the newfound reconciliation with the Church of Christ.

Mr Bennett and Mr Brewer unfortunately seemed bitter upon their conversion to Protestantism. They seem to be so full of hate and frustration on their former faith and you cant even see them the Christian joy they ought to manifest.

Good you admit its splendor and great wealth! And it’s true
Kung ana sya ka powerful, do you think walay influence ang Vatican sa immorality and the decline of moral values sa palibot karon? Out of its lavish wealth wala syay kaya to control the media, information and other influence that is being feed to the masses?

Ang pangutana kung naka benefit ba ang tanang RCC members sa giingong wealth or few individuals lang ang nakapahimos ug maayo? Mao nay giingon nila bro, ang pobre mosamot kapobre while ang datu mosamot sad kadatu...and that is not the spirit of a true believer of Christ! Fortunate are those who are on top of the pyramid

Who’s the god do you mean? Pwerte bayang daghanang gods sa pagan world bro!

Because of their power to conquer nations with their military might, they were able to accumulate such wealth.
But honest bro giunsa manka pagconvert to RC, gipasabot ka una sa kaluwasan and its doctrines or gibunyagan ka dretso nga wala pa kay buot kung unsa imong choices?

dont you ever wonder why it's so easy to search for historical evidence on people born centuries before Christ, yet you cant never find sufficient historical data about the lives of the people depicted in the bible?.. I mean people of such importance would've had any sort of historical data written about them except that in the bible right?..

ive looked at hundreds of historical books before but none really said something about Jesus and Simon Peter and the rest of the Apostles, needless to say the Old Testament stories, well except Christian books of course..

Just to clarify bro what @ sun has said:

bas·tard -- (noun). A person born of parents not married to each other.

Elizabeth was a bastard -- because she is NOT the legitimate daughter of the king, but by a mistress. Her parents were not legally married when she was born. Harsh paminawon bro, but mao ang tinuod. Karon kay "polite" na kunuhay kaayo ta, di na ta mogamit ug ing-ana nga sinulti-an. LOVE CHILD naman ang tawag sa mga bastards karon para mas nindot paminawon. NO OFFENSE lang guys.

    Back to topic:

Yes, Anglicanism is bastardized Christianity. A frankenstein religion created out of merging Catholicism and Protestantism. I dont know fan pud diay ka og mythology bro... hehehe. "Bloody Mary" was an anti Catholic political propaganda to bolster English support for ELizabeth after she murdered her sister, Mary. Junk history man na imoha. While I do not condone the atrocities of these monarchs, let's look at the facts instead:

Henry VIII – killed 72,000 Catholics
Edward VI – killed 5,500 Catholics

Mary I "Bloody Mary" – killed 284 Protestants

Elizabeth I the "Good Queen" -- exterminated 1.5 MILLION Irish Catholics by imposing the First Irish Holocaust and "putting to the sword" the Irish Catholic population.
-- Killed 48 priests and 20 laymen in England or a total of 87 people under her orders.

    Anti Catholic junk history
The "Good Queen Bess" and her Holocaust
    England's Catholic Genocide

    The Historical Jesus
    another biased site..

Nobody can prove Jesus' existence and non-existence, the concept of Jesus may have been copied from a real preacher from long time ago, but that person is far less than what the bible depicts him to be, when people write stories they tend to embillish things you know.. or maybe they just made it up entirely.. nobody knows..
