there will always be a villain in every story or else it would be boring. even god when he created heaven he did hell too as well to make it more interesting. Good guys turned to villains or villains turned to good guys are everyday development of human existence.

Lol at the apologists here. No Miranda Rights? That's the only thing a cop needs to say during an arrest, and they can't even say it?

And even if the blog entry is inaccurate, the video/audio recording tells you everything you need to know of the arrogance of these police officers.

There's no need to destroy the force's reputation, when it's already shot to begin with. Need I remind you that these cops are from the same force that jumped the gun and arrested Sven Erik Berger and Karen Esdrelon on suspicion in the murder of Ellah Joy Pique, without ANY physical evidence. Case closed pa daw, pag ka bulay-og.

And you people wonder why Cebu's finest is held in such high esteem.

With regards to the miranda rights basically there are instances the officers failed to perform. But this does not save the face of the suspect since this was from a hot pursuit operation .read the here:

A team of CIB operatives led by Insp. William Alicaba went to the place around 8 p.m. and arrested Labra, who was reportedly caught in the act of handing over stubs to a police decoy, Santander said.

“Naa’y pulis ming-act as decoy, nagpasumangil og pusta ngadto niya kay ilado man na siya diha na coordinator sa Masiao. Paghatag niya sa stub, gidakop namo siya,” said Santander. He said the suspect was arrested by the Guadalupe Police for the same offense last October.

Santander said when they tried to arrest him the suspect ran inside his house so the police followed him and arrested him there.

Inside, the police recovered tally sheets, eight stubs, 11 ballpens, three calculators, and a .22 cal. rifle allegedly owned by the suspect.

The suspect’s family will be filing counter-charges against the police.

with regards to warrant of arrest or search warrant you guys are talking, then back read to balipseyev post, it was explained there.

I don't know if the team arresting this guy was related to the team that arrested sven and esdrelon, but if they are, still it does not entitle the blogger to say such claims on what he feel to the cebu police force.

this might be a little OT but i'll have a word on the TS. Thanks to you sir and your post makes it to the top 7 list when you google "cebu police".. Happy now?

    The court of law
will settle this once and for all.
It's either suspension because of maltreatment,
or jail sentence to the culprit.
