i agree. most of the big players provide FREE help desk and billing software. this is good because basic functionality is there. however, there are lots of dis-advantage.

• you don't own the license
• you don't have priority support for the software developer
• you don't have access to their support
• you are at the mercy your hosting provider when they gonna provide you with an updated copy
• the list goes on and on

depende na sa client nimo. kay ako, before we provide a service to the client, we tell them that we work "VIRTUALLY". meaning email invoices, email contracts ug uban pa. kung ang imong client mangita ug physical invoice aw mapugos ka ug produce. i have a client nga gusto niya naay physical invoice, ako siyang gi-ingnan nga pwede pero generic. sugot ra man.

bottom line before giving services to a client, you should be honest with them about how you operate.

naa ra na nimo bai kung imong i-charge ang clients for add-on domains. however most of the hosting providers including us provide this feature for FREE depende sa ilang hosting plan.
