*good desires are the ones that respects and accepts a failure as either a challenge or a learning tool..
in short this desire is the kind that endures is purified and tested..the kind that produces positive attributes...

*bad desires are the ones that can only benefit one's self, this type of desire usually cause other people's suffering
and this is the kind of desire that results in to frustration when not achieved.

kung mangaply ka ug trabaho then wala ka nagdesire nga ma hire, why apply in the first place?

kung imung qualification pang entry level...unya nangaply ka ug managerial position unya nag expect pa jud ka
nga madawat..kana mauy BAD desire packed with EGO nga wa nagka dimao...

sure ka bro nga literalon na ug sabut ang giingun ni buddha?
how come you agree that there are two kinds of desires?(good and bad)(leads to frustration and does not lead to frustration)...
kung literalon nato na pagsabut ang no ego and no desire = true happiness...

then ALL desires should be BAD kay dapat man no DESIRE diba?
i agree with no EGO 'cause in most cases EGO results to selfishness, greed and hate
BUT Desires? maybe the EVIL desires cguro...

    another YES/NO question bro...

Do You WANT to be truly HAPPY?

in this case, you don't want to DESIRE as either BAD or GOOD desires has
the risk of failing...so better not desire at all..para Happy diba?

IF YOU RISK nothing, YOU are RISKING everything..

if you fail then you stand back up learned your lesson and try again...you MIGHT find the answers or NOT but at least you can say to yourself...at least i tried - this is a result of a good desire...

if you fail then you say,way ayo ni oi...maypag wala nalang ko nisuway..
sa sunod di najud ko magdesire oi...kapuy ba aning mapakyas ta...
----this shows a bad desire, resulted into frustration...now can you be HAPPIER by strictly NOT desiring at ALL?

BAD desires of course dili maau...but even the good ones as well?dapat walaon?
    i don't think so...

if we are to rephrase buddha's statement:

take i for it is EGO and want for it is desire, then it leaves you happiness...
then it would be something like this:
true happiness can be attained if one is humble with a pure heart.
    (if not taken literally)

of course one can never be truly happy if he is egoistic and full of pride 'cause he would always end up hating others..
of course one cannot be truly happy if the desires he had were only for himself...

in other words..to be truly happy is to be selfless...
to be free from any form of selfish and egoistic desires..NOT free from the actual DISIRE itself

@noy >> kataas pud ani bro, hehehe

*good desires are the ones that respects and accepts a failure as either a challenge or a learning tool..
in short this desire is the kind that endures is purified and tested..the kind that produces positive attributes...
    >> cge daw bro, tagai ko ug example nga good desire, unya kung mo fail, are you 100% happy? Yes/No

*bad desires are the ones that can only benefit one's self, this type of desire usually cause other people's suffering
and this is the kind of desire that results in to frustration when not achieved.
    >> example of bad desire bro, unya if mo fail, happy ba ka? kung dili unsa pud?

kung mangaply ka ug trabaho then wala ka nagdesire nga ma hire, why apply in the first place?
    >> ni apply ka because you need to and not bec of your desire, ngita man ka ug trabaho para naa ka income, but don't desire nga ma hire ka as per teaching, why? for your own happiness, either ma hire ka ug dili you are still happy bec wa man ka mag desire, ky kung mo desire ka unya di ka ma hire, you will be sad, and it will affect your happiness,

kung imung qualification pang entry level...unya nangaply ka ug managerial position unya nag expect pa jud ka
nga madawat..kana mauy BAD desire packed with EGO nga wa nagka dimao...
    >> bisan pa ug managerial position imo gi applyan, but you did not desire for it, just trying without thinking unsa imo qualification, unya na hire ka, wow, you will be very happy, but kung gi hire for the least nga position, ok lng ka, anyway wa man ky desire, it is always a gift what is given to you, you will still be happy.

sure ka bro nga literalon na ug sabut ang giingun ni buddha?
how come you agree that there are two kinds of desires?(good and bad)(leads to frustration and does not lead to frustration)...

BUT Desires? maybe the EVIL desires cguro...
    >> evil man o maski good, dapat wagtangon ang desire, para kung mo fail, you will not be sad. klaro man kaayo na, we want happiness, always happy dapat, kung naay desire unya mo fail, di naka always happy ky ma sad man ka basta mo fail, but kung wa ka desire, wa lng, you will not feel sad, so you are always happy

    another YES/NO question bro...

Do You WANT to be truly HAPPY?
    >> yes, true happines is always happy, wai gamai maski 1% nga sadness, 24/7, maski natulog ka you are happy hehehe, and that can only be achieved 24/7 happiness kung no ego and no desires

in this case, you don't want to DESIRE as either BAD or GOOD desires has
the risk of failing...so better not desire at all..para Happy diba?

IF YOU RISK nothing, YOU are RISKING everything..

    >> Yes, you are 24/7 happy, maski 1% nga sadness wala, ky wa gud ka gi desire, if a result sa imong gibuhat mo fail, you don't fell bad about, you are not sad, you are always happy, samot pa kung mo succeed, mas happy na gyud noon ka, and point diri is, no space for sadness

BAD desires of course dili maau...but even the good ones as well?dapat walaon?

    >> kung ang statement "I Happiness", pwede na "I", the ego lng kuhaon, "Happiness" ang bilin, but "I want happiness" man, if we take "I", the ego, what's left "want happiness", in that statement bro, happy naba ka? wala pa, di ba? nag want pa lang ka, nag desire pa lng ka. but if you remove "want', "happiness" is left, happy na ba? yes, happy na

ok bro.have it your way then...NO desires whatsoever..i can only respect your philosphies if not change them
i will stop from here not because there's nothing more to say..but it will be a disrespect
to argue with a person whose fixed on a certain philosophy with no intentions of weighing other philosophies...
it defeats the purpose of reason and arguement..i wish you well

OT: i think lahi ang meaning ni Hitler using that symbol lahi pud ang kang Buddha, you can find it in wikipedia: Swastika - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia; just like the cross, adopted by the Christians, but naa na daan sa mga Egyptians, Americans and many others. Ang original meaning sa symbols, like the cross and swastika, di na mao sa pag adopt nya. Gamit gamit sa symbol, but wa diay kabalo sa original meaning.

OnT: one good example ani nga teaching ni Buddha - a boy is in love kaayo sa girl, if mag desire siya nga ma inlove pud ang girl nya, nya manguyab cya unya diay basted, ang resulta, red horse pa dai, pwerteng guola as if there is no world for him na. but if wa cya nag desire nga ma inlove nya ang girl, he just show her everyday how he really loves her, he will let the girl know that he loves her, nya if the girl doesn't love her back, he won't be sad, ky wa man cya nag desire nga ma inlove pud nya ang girl, so meaning happy gihapon cya, but if the girl would love her back, aw pwerteng lipaya na, syagit maayo ang kalipay hehe.

no ego and no desire, be humble lng and then you achieve true happiness
Desire makes the world today. Because of Desire, someone created an internet nga maoy imung medium spread whatever Belief you have Now. Arent you happy about that?

That's what i am talking about when i said Balance.

If puro ra HUMBLE or pagpaubos or No ego, unsaon man nimu pagtabang sa uban tawo nga if Humble ka mu ingun man ka nga DI NKO NA KAYA OI kay UNSA RA GUD KO. if naay mu ingun TABANG tag rescue sa Natabunan sa linog - mu ingun ka DI KO OI KAY DI KA KABALO unsaon pag rescue...ect ect. So bati ghapon if way balance..basta ibutang lan sa saktong lugar.
