    you have "no desire" to look for what is missing that will make you happier? you are already happy.

    using your idea bro,
    a person who is jobless, need not to desire a job to be happy?
    a hungry person need not to desire food to be full?
    a person who does not have enough money to sustain his needs need not to desire extra income to divert the reality of the need? and eventually be happy?

    ma evil man or ma good desire, if it fails, it will lead to sadness, di ba? then you are not happy. if there is no desire, and something fails, you are not sad, you are still happy.

    just apply for a job, complete all the requirements and necessary interviews, don't desire anything like higher position/salary or be hired, just do what is necessary to be done
    1. if you fail - did not desire: you are not sad, happy still; desired: you will be sad, you are not happy
    2. if you were hired but did not get the higher position/salary - did not desire: still happy; desired: sad, not happy
    3. if you get the higher position/salary - did not desire: very happy; desired: very happy

    hungry person - of course ka simple ra ana, he needs food, ngita siya paagi kakita ug food
    1. failure to find food - did not desire: sad for no food, alangan naman ug ma happy hehehe; desired: sad nga wai food; and sad ky wa na complete ang desire
    2. kita ug food - puro happy of course

    let's say a person looks for extra income, ky kulang iyang income just for his needs
    1. did not find a 2nd job - did not desire: not affected, kunf unsa iya feeling, wa napun-an ug sadness; desired: kung sad siya sa iyang situation, napun-an bec of the failure of the desire
    2. found a 2nd job - very happy, either ni desire or wala

    literal man gyud na, simple ra kaayo ang teachings ni Buddha. Ang Bible gani ang dapat dili i literal ang pagbasa. lisod gyud na siya sabton kung ang tao is thinking that he is his physical body (naay ego, naay desires) kysa tao nga siya ang iyang soul (no ego, no desires)

    the body of man has ego and desires, but the soul wala

    if the person is thinking that he is a body with a soul - then naa na siya ego and desires, that can always affect his happiness

    if the person is thinking that is a soul with a body - then no ego, no desires = unaffected, untainted happiness, always happy
