...and one more thing, not all hotels esp. FO and housekeeping have good relationships, more of a complicated one.

Fortunately for me here, all departments are working as one team.

But dont worry, ingon ana jud na.

-- Housekeeping VS Maintenance

These groups are mostly kontra-kontra jud! After a few years of working diri, the reason is very clear to me:
They Dont Understand Each Other's Works and Responsibilities.

But however it looks, work must go on and life must go on Keep smiling jud!

inig abot sa problema mag.tinok.moray naman na kung kinsang sala ngano wa ma follow.up..kay mao ni mao na...ahhahaa..sometimes maka limot na kung kinsa ng duties and responsibilites...dha na pud mo came into picture ang mga department heads kay di bya lang kita dire naa sa ubos mo sulbad sa problema pa.laban jud ta sa F.O. manager..hehehehe..di ko bias ha abi kay F.O. ko..ahahaha..btaw kung di madala nato syempre mo ask jud ta ug help sa atong head oi...di lalim nga tulisokon kas atubangan dha sa lobby yaw.yawan kas guests unsa ba gud tawn sala nako oi...maka ana lagi ka...=)

i agree. sometimes, its all about pride. communication to say the least. each department has its own responsibility, but nonetheless we all have the same goal......SERVICE CHARGE!

work beyond your means. settle anything if you are capable of doing it. work and learn so you will succeed and promotions are within reach. but for the mean time, if the going gets tough, give it to persons with bigger salary. keep yourself safe at all times

havent worked in a hotel pero i used to talk to hoteliers since am working in a travel agency way way back. malingaw gyud ko. ganahan kaau ko mosuway ug work sa hotel bisag front office assoc lang pero murag di man gyud ko madawat. lol

people who works in a hotel for the longest time simply has the passion for it. stress and service charge can co exist
