As for anal s3x, gay or straight couples need not marry to engage in it. I would like to point out that it's not an exclusive homosexual activity. Straight couples also do it. But I suppose you could make an argument that it's an immoral act. Especially if done irresponsibly thereby causing harm to their sexual partners (the spread of STDs for example). I'm no expert on the subject really. In fact, I'm inclined to think it's an immoral act. Bottom line - having *** (vaginal, anal, or whatnot) is immoral if done irresponsibly, potentially harming your sexual partner.

Still, it's not relevant to the topic- which is legal marriage.

A pedophile forces his will unto a child every time, even if that child is more than willing to have s3x with him.

You're confusing rights afforded to minors and those afforded to adults. Minors do not have the same rights (or legal capacities) as adults until they reach legal age. And as with everything in law, it is up for contention. You can make a case that it's 16, 18, 21, etc. The same goes for marriage - it's not entirely impossible for homosexuals to be allowed to legally marry, even in this country of ours. I doubt it will be legislated soon though, since the laws of the land are dictated by democracy, and the majority is resoundingly against gay marriage.

I'm not gay, by the way.

Scientists also believed the earth was flat and the sun revolved around the earth once upon a time.
Sorry my point was not made clearly. In so far as the discussion on sodomy is concerned, it is only immoral when two males are engaged in it. As far as lesbians (who are mentally challenged also) and hetero couples are concerned, it is okay as the attraction is understandable. As to two males poking each other, yuck...

Now you make a distinction as to consent given by adults and minors. Consent as a gauge of affirmation in contracts is heavily legislated in many countries. Much like gay marriage is in this country.

If you are really straight then you would know that every mast3rbating 11 year old wants to bone the object of his sexual fantasies. Statutory rape does not need the element of force as it can be a mutually consented act. The only element needed is the age of minority of one partner. But to say a pedophile always forces his way unto his victims is wrong.

It was hard to verify whether the earth was round or flat at the time. Homosexuality as a mental illness is not however. Di na sakit sa pangisip magpa lobot sir or mautgan sa kaubang lalaki mag hubo? I remember a homos3x friend once saying that sexual attraction to another man's naked body is an art that has not yet transcended its time. Only the few who choose to see can appreciate it. We have not been in talking terms since then.

So you're saying anal s3x is only immoral if done by two males because... "yuck"?

And lesbians/straights engaging in vaginal, oral, and anal s3x (using *****s for lesbians) is okay because the "attraction is understandable"?

Morality is not dependent on social acceptability.
(eg. In the 1800s racial segregation was acceptable, therefore not immoral (at the time)?)

Nor does it vary between different sexual orientations.
(i.e. Anal s3x is okay for straights and lesbians but immoral for male homosexuals?)

I already pointed out how anal s3x can be immoral in my previous post, but you can't just say any act is immoral just because you or everybody finds it "yucky".

We can sit all day talking about sodomy, but it still isn't relevant to the topic of gay marriage.

Legally speaking, a minor cannot consent to a sexual act, so a pedophile having s3x with a minor is never mutually consented. It's akin to having s3x with someone who hasn't given you their consent, which is basically rape.

If by "force" you mean physical force, then sure, but it's not the case all the time. It doesn't always mean physical force. (coercion, exploitation, etc.). So again, a pedophile forces his will unto a child every time.

I'll just wait and see how you'll try to fit pedophilia into the topic of gay marriage.

It was hard to verify whether the earth was round or flat at the time. Homosexuality as a mental illness is not however.
Okay, since you say it's not hard to verify that it's a mental illness, you shouldn't have trouble finding scientific evidence that says so.

    I'll wait.

Men in our military are not welcoming of gays and I don't think that would translate to more than half of them being closet homosexuals. If you are found to be gay you will be ostracized and eventually punished.

In prison systems the world all over, homosexuals are of a rather lowly rank. Above rapists but below regular criminals, they are often abused by fellow inmates. Convicts who discriminate against homosexuals are not entirely homosexuals themselves.

My point is it does not make you homosexual to be homophobic. Nothing is further from the truth. The term is undeserving of the word phobia since it is clinically not even a phobia per se. But what would you expect from a fellow phagg0t who coined the term originally?

Excuse me hell-bound traveler but I explicitly said "father" not "mother." They only way I could be proven wrong in

    (your case specifically)

is if you could prove your father is proud of your homosexuality. I bet your father isn't proud so that makes me right. How many times has your father contemplated murder and suicide out of shame? Murder = you, Suicide = him.

Stop it and get help. Thanks for the Tom Hardy tip but I tend to separate actors from the characters they play so him having a history of homosexual relationships does not in any way have any bearing on my appreciation of Bane from the movie.

Homosexuals shouldn't get married. They should be getting treatment.

No need to get defensive, I was just stating Emperical Data after all

If you really feel secured in your sexuality then you wouldn't even care to address the earlier post.. the fact that you felt the need to clarify and reaffirm your heterosexuality disproves your claim of any form of security.

Let me state that again, Homophobes are closeted homosexuals, according to scientific study

Then they wouldn't be "gays" and "lesbians" now would they.

But sexuality is very fluid and one can drift from one extreme to another.

There's a myriad of gender identities and orientations
