i think bai, ang tradition nga gi mean ni Jesus and the apostles are pagan traditions or other Jewish traditions that have already been fulfilled by the Jesus himself,then a whole new tradition has been created, like the tradition of remembering Christ's birth,death, breaking of bread and a whole lot of stuff. about indulgences, it's deep...
but i think the main and sole purpose for indelgence was really good..unfortunately yes, there were corrupt
people in the early RCC church.sad to say even now.but i hope that's not gonna be our basis why we should be divided as Christians.

I think you are oversimplifying the issue. You cannot just compare it with pearl spotting or Nike shoes. The reason why there are lots of denominations sprouting like mushrooms or let's consider the entire religion of humanity, is because THERE IS NO GOD WHO GOES DOWN FROM HEAVEN IN FIERY CHARIOTS AND TELLS A CHURCH GROUP TO SHUT UP THIS IS THE CORRECT DOCTRINE AND SHOULD FOLLOW THIS RELIGION. I think the God of Abraham, Isaac n Jacob has gone somewhere else..

The bible is a good source of information as far as history is concerned, just ignore the Creation myth. You will learn a lot of morals in that book and proverbial sayings..I'm not closing the door and say wala na jud possibility to know the real christian or true church/religion. Who knows someday that imaginary being might appear and reveal everything, so in the meantime, its everybody's guess..
