hagbay ra RTM ang vista.. released naman gani for system builders. ang home versions mao na ang i release sa january

hinay kung bati ang computer. kung less than 1gb imo RAM ayaw nalang pag dahom nga nindot imo experience sa Vista. In fact ang recommended nga RAM sa vista is 2GB.

That doesnt mean that Vista is fully out on retail channels, not all system builders have access or want vista now since driver support is still very poor until retail release dates.

Actually I was pointing out that Vista is no longer on the BETA and not whether it is widely available.

You seem to sound to confident that vista requires 2Gb for ram, are you basing that on knowledge or experience ?
tbh, Vista does NOT consume more memory than XP, infact i had the same amount of free RAM from a fresh vista installation when compared to a fresh XP installation even with Aero running.

I never said Vista REQUIRES 2GB RAM. Read carefully-- I said recommended (based on experience with XP see details below)
Don't take M$ word heartily when it comes to system requirements. You should know they listed 128MB as minimum for Windows XP.. which just runs fine on a fresh installation. But give it a few week's time of use and program installation and you'll notice that 128 just doesn't cut it.. not even double the minimum requirement. Vista requires at least 512(sez M$)..so it would be safe to say.. if you got 512 then expect to have unsatisfying experience in the long run. I currently run on 1Gig and vista runs fine on my system .. not even breaking a sweat. But if you factor in current games like BF2142+ Future Apps, then it shows that you need more than a Gig. Like I said "Bati kung hinay ang computer".

Yes.. your computer currently runs great on 1Gig on a fresh install.. but remember you're not always gonna get the same "fresh install" performance once programs get installed. I've seen pentium 2 and pentium 3 computers run faster on a fresh WinXP install than some Pentium 4 systems running on a "polluted" WinXP when running on 256MB or lesser RAM.
