I think we should learn from our past and current mistakes
dili kay the thought its less shameful to commit the same mistakes because you know others ALSO did
coz its even more shameful to commit those you know and aware of.
And it doesn't put justice and give excuse its ok to make or commit mistakes that everyone is prone off
because its just another way of telling yourself its ok and be less mindful of it instead of learning from it and be extra careful it won't happen again.
-Si cong. talpolano bitaw nangurakot man so ok ra pud if ako..sila ra kahibaw

-no parking man diri pero naa man ni park nya wala dakpa...hmmm ok ra pud if mu park ko

-ay sus sila bitaw labay didto daplin dalan basura...alkanse nako noh if mag hago2x lang ko labay sa labayanan gyud nga layo man toh.
does liberty ba that you are talking about has any disadvantage? I mean wala ba ka maigo ana nga tao kay imo na gipasidayeg na mensahe to solve poverty?
^ nope... that is the only message that makes us responsible for ourselves and protect your work from others... The only disadvantage of liberty is that no one can reap from the labor of other people....
a ok.. kaning mga squatters bay ba.. what can u say about them? they live on the land of other peoples property, do u have a solution that will be fitting and fair for them because they are a living example of poverty here in the Philippines..
we never said education was the ONLY solution but ONE of the solutions to progress the country. You are under the impression that we are solely suggesting education but this thread is about pitching in solutions.
in my opinion, marcos was the only educated choice our filipinos made. and FYI, filipinos were actually FAR MORE educated that time than any of us today. Why? Because the system WORKED that time. Education, transportation, economy was like a well oiled machine. Our economy was one of the best in asia at marcos' time. Our public school system were far more effective than private schools at the time.
Unsa man imo ipagmamalaki sa atong generation ron? Voting for idiotic celebrities and sports heroes to run for office? We haven't made a universal educated vote for our leaders since Marcos.
But if you're citing Marcos as an example because of his martial law, then you are making a subjective comparison to our argument today.
ask anyone (the majority) who lived through martial law and you could learn a few things that what mainstream media today claims is just some sort BS the aquinos cooked up and we all know where we are today after 2 aquinos ruled our country, right?
It's so easy to incite people bai. Rememer Barak. Remember Gadaffi. Karon asa na ila country ron? Out of one frying pan and into another. Laing mga buaya ra ni take over.
The real reason marcos' rule crumbled was because he became too sick to manage the country personally (we all know about his sickness). The result? He passed over his responsibilities to his cronies (and his gold digging wife) and it HAS BEEN OBSERVED that national leaders who rely too much on advisors is INEFFICIENT to govern.
You want to know who else fit that critieria of advisor dependence? Cory Aquino! Erap Estrada! When this scenario happens, the presidents become the puppets.
so ang gusto nimo ihas nalang ta tanan? education is one of the foundations for any democratic society.dili lang man na ensakto na basta ka lang na educate makatabang ka na sa ato problema sa poverty.. that is already proven in our history bay that education alone isn't enough.. kung education makatabang na makaluwas ato poverty unta kanang mga public teachers nato dili mabaon sa mga utang ug sila nakalingkawas jud sa kahirapan..and most of all we can't rely our educational system in our country kay naglisod man gane ta hantud run sa ato educational system unya mao na hinoon inyo mahimo solution sa poverty diri?
you can refute all you want about the need for education but if you want to do away with it, might as well resort to communism because obviously that is the only thing that fits your ideal.![]()

@blacklist25

self-discipline bay.. education alone is nothing if there is no discipline on it.
communism?? well, take a look at china, vietnam and saudi arabia.. they may not be perfect but at least they were able to manage the majority of their economy and its citizens to civilized one.. Pwede man sad ba parehoson nato ato policy sa ila kay majority of pinoys only believe in a law if the one who implements it is as hard as iron..
although I still want democratic country, but sometimes people who live in too much of democracy is getting out of control.. just like here in our country..sadya lang jud nga naay dili kabalo magdala sa ila freedom.
but anyways, democracy is also good if one knows how to handle it.
