I think you're referring to the high-end cards like Upper Deck's Exquisite line. $400 man siguro ang per box nya, then 5 cards lang ang naa sa sulod, pero guaranteed hits gyud sya. Kung maswertehan ka, you can get a box with MJ or Lebron autos, which can be sold for thousands of dollars on E-Bay.

You can still buy packs along the 150-200 price range, but these are mostly hobby packs, low end products.

I was hoping that the hobby would pick up last year, especially with marquee rookies like Griffin and Wall sparking interest. Pero karon nga lock out, daghan na sad nawad-an ug gana sa NBA, so samot maapektohan ang hobby. How I wish the hobby was like in the 90s, but I guess that was our peak.

bitaw sayang na wa na, but i still keep my genuine nba cards,,like my kobe bryant worth 10 dollars ug mga jordan woth 15 to 20 dollars...i stop collecting na pag 2000 kay mao na tyma ni hinay and ni mahal2 ang mga cards... kinsa pa nag collecta ani mag trade2 ta nnyo...

I gotta admit, this lockout is severely diminishing my interest for the hobby. It's been quite a while since I bought a pack/box. Last pack I bought, I got a Tim Duncan GU. Pure luck ra gyud hehe.
