Another thing...about the attendance bonus, we were trying hard not to be absent and all they do is raffle who gets to win an attendance bonus. RAFFLE..is it really so hard to just give those employees something to show that they appreciate our effort of not being absent?
And about our pay, we get paid every 5th and 25th of each month...at least when it's pay day they should make it available at 12:01am. We are already getting a very low rate and it is still delayed?
I was proud of my job when I was with the previous centers because I can say the pay is good...But now?when someone ask me where I work and how much I am getting? I can only smile in silence..and shrug.

I can't blame you if you believed they chose the Manila people to be promoted in behalf of Cebuanos as slap on your face, that's not a slap on your face, sooner or later, there will be somebody who will be promoted from your batches. Have you considered the situation of your account for you to say that promoting an agent from Waves of AWOL agents would do good when promoted as a supervisor? if they will promote you as a supervisor, would you be able to explain to your agents the reason why the company cant change their payroll scheme right there and then just because a lot of employees rant about it? So I want to put yourself on their shoes now and tell me how you will explain the situation to your employees for them not to be demotivated.
It is possible that since a lot of your wavemates went on AWOL, that could have created an impression that hey, I cant trust this people to run my business. I didn't say that they can trust the Manila people too.
Again, in your account's current situation. Do you think promoting somebody from your batches would do better than the current situation?
Again, if you believe you could have delivered the message better than your Boss "I", how are you going to do it knowing that you cant change the payroll scheme right away. And do you think what he said didn't make any sense?
Again, if you have a 16K basic in a month with 2 cut off. You would probably get 6k per cut off as the highest if you're single without dependents.
I know you're not new to this industry. I expect you to understand better than anybody. I expect you to have done the calculation long before you realize that your pay is not enough for you.

We were even shocked because we were given enough time to prepare our Operations. Of course you cant do anything about it because its the client's decision. aw o 20th diay..my bad. naa man sa CCMS that we will have the payslip on or before lunch tomorrow Nov. 4, 2011. So there is a possibility that the pay will be delayed. I'm sure they will reason out that it is still Nov. 4 and our pay is supposed to be Nov. 5. Well, other centers pay us a day before payday..and if payday falls on weekends or mondays, we get paid on fridays. If it falls on holidays, it is always a day before. and it is available at 12:01 am...not within the day. So I don't think it's the bank.

I get your point about attrition and bosses not trusting us Cebuanos for it...but shouldn't we ask first why does agents go on AWOL? If an agent is happy with the center they will not go on AWOL specially if they smell promotion. I am not expecting any from my batch to be promoted, I was expecting it from the first few waves like 1, 2, 3, and 4.
And TP is not the only center that started in Manila and then opened a center here in Cebu, so how come the other centers promoted people from Cebu when they opened here in Cebu?
I am not good with calculating all those numbers..what I do know is when I was with my previous employer, I was offered 12k basic pay plus performance bonus (depends on performance), attendance bonus of 1,500.00 and night diff..but even with a lower basic pay, I was getting at least 9k per payday. So when offered 14k basic pay plus 2k premium, I was expecting to get higher or at least the same..not way way lower.
