i don't see these as hindrances to my personal goals...how about kung gamiton ni nato as motivations instead? why do we get easily swayed by these feeble taunts?

yes, i'd be a hypocrite kung muingon ko nga dili jd ko maapektuhan anang mga panaot. of course, taw ra sad ko. magsakit sab gamay.

BUT, i would never give them the satisfaction nga they've got into me. akoa silang pasuyaon ug samot kung mao man gani na.

CONFIDENCE in our country's government is what will help us look for work or find opportunities to earn a living.

In the end, if the Filipino people do not persevere like Singapore did as a united front, then nothing grand will ever happen to us again. The so-called last accomplishment we had was the people power revolution in 1986. not the "Sequel" of revolutions that we had afterwards, but the first one. It suppsoedly wanted to show the world that change is possible through peaceful means. The only thing lacking was the follow-through of a strong leader who should have been given enough time to make the projects grow to fruition. Am not talking about Cory ha, but anyone who has the WILL, MIGHT, FORESIGHT, & DISCIPLINE of Mr. Lee Kwan Yu.

Singapore is a country with virtually no NATURAL RESOURCES, and yet they manage to have an economy that is First World or industrialized.

Kita ngari nga pwerting daghanag natural resources kutob ra jub sa baligya ug dili mag develop, manufacture ug market what could be thousands of products that could have been derived.

Yes, in this forum we always see Singapore as the example because let's face it, a City-state like that with virtually nothing except people became what it is today, a nation united in its ideals.

Yes, kita, we are much larger than Singapore in terms of size but we are not united in terms of ideology, politics, love for country and etc.

Blame the parents who became irresponsible on the way they raised their children. Is it any wonder why more youths here in Cebu are dropping out of school?

i blame the filipinos themselves.... enjoy the moment kaayu atong mentality... maka trabaho lang gani, waldas2x sweldo....maka abroad lang gana, gara2X na gasto, pasikat diri pasikat didto... many of us do not plan our future... iampo ra tanan... If you think about it, daghan kaau paagi para muasenso ang kinabuhi nato... pero kapoyan man tag hunahuna, tanaw man tag soap opera, noon time shows, kesa mag asikaso unsay ikaayu sa atong kaugmaon... dili ma blame tanan sa gobyerno.... ngano man lage naa pa man mga pobre nadatu sa ilang kakugi? kay mao ning mga tauhana walay gisaligan kung di ilang kaugalingon....the more a person becomes dependent on someone, the lower his status in life will be.... nahan ka madatu? Lihok ug kayud! a mentality of "entitlements" will keep you poor....
