Nasabtan man ang imong punto, TS. Sayop man gyud ang overprofiting pero liability na sa seller. As buyer, ang atong mahimo mao ang paglikay aning maong mga sellers. If all of us will do that, then the 'overprofiting' seller will eventually close his/her shop kay wala nama'y customer.

Pero kun tanang sellers pulos taas ang gi-presyo sa usa ka cellphone, for example, lahi na na nga story. Nagpasabot na nga taas ang demand, maong taas pud ang price sa maong cellphone. In other words, majority sa mga buyers anang maong cellphone believe that the price is just fair and they are willing to spend that much money para lang makatag-iya anang maong cellphone.

Of course, there are a few of these buyers who are actually not convinced of the current price. Para nila dili worthy ang maong cellphone sa iyang taas nga presyo. But as long as these buyers are few, the current price of the item will remain 'high' kay lagi mas daghan man ang buyers nga convinced nga OK ra ang current price.

im a businessman and a banker. I know well how a business goes. To hell with your patience and morals. The profits will not only go to our own pockets but to other hands as well. Plus we are renting an expensive space and not to mention electricity, water bills and taxes. You are only thinking of the item we sell.
It's not that consumers will buy everything or all of your items in just a single day. Some items will stay longer in the store or freezer.
I know becoming rich is not the first rule of business but that's the sole goal of why opening a business.

There are always consumer/buyer- seller complaints. You cant eliminate that.
    I suggest
Google the rule of supply and demand.

ps. i agree with you @yanong.

sellers can always justify why they overprofit an item. As consumers you have the right to either buy it or look for a cheaper price in other stores.

Dili ko nawng og kwarta. Ikaw nuon nagsour grape. sa masuya rana @TS. You should join microbusiness meetings.lol take note, "micro".

Do not forget the costs involved for Research and Development, Marketing, After Sales Support, Warranty, and Organizational/Operational Costs. In the end they still make a good amount of profit but not as much as you think... sometimes, they even take losses on some products.

^^ agree, some business models sell some items at a loss and make money out of the consumables.

kay ang tintal di rana kutob sa SIX, BABAYE/LALAKI, even MONEY. ang tintal covered sa tanan makadaut, maski pa business na sugod pa lang daan, fraudulent na daan. hehehe
Yep in terms of the basic needs sa mga tao mas daghan jud limitations sa profit na pwede ma kuha ana since regulated man ang prices and daghan man sad competition and people barely care about brands for that kind of products these days.
pero in things where a man can live without like gadget, cars, etc., dali ra kaayu na nila pasakaon ang presyo maski 10x pa labaw na sikat ang brand and most of the people want to have that.
naa say mga mahal kaayu na mga brands na isa nasad na sa marketing ug part na sa name nila ang ilang pagka mahalon so the public especially the more materialistic ones would also be enticed to buy their products even though its features/specs is just the same or lower compared to the other brand that is just half the price.
so basically it still ends up to the buyer's prerogative and I'm pretty sure that they also know na overpriced na kaayu ang items but still mahalin man gihapon sila... ara rana mag decrease ang price kung ni karaan na, di na uso or wa kaayu mamalit.
I'm also a businessman and honestly speaking, ga tukod ra jud ko ug business para maka kwarta ko.. so for me wa juy businessman nga dili mu consider ug MORE profit.... kay kung un igo2x rasad tabla nalang mag employee nalang ko mas hayahay pa ug less risks and responsibilities.
