this is just a lament to those companies na grabeh mu profit, especially kanang buy & sell.

sa mga nangandoy sad na makakwarta at least chance na ninyo sad ni mu asenso. pero ayaw lang sad padak-a kaayo.

at least na discover nako na mao diay nang sigeg sale ang mga cell shop kai pwede ra diay sila mu profit gihapon. pero anag nakaapan lang kai ma sale o dili sale, kai triple ang kita nila. tsk tsk tsk.

also guys, i made a poll, hope mu participate mo.

consumers has the choice to buy or not. Look for deals with great discounts. Dali ra man na. Unless siguro ang imong gi present nga item is a necessity kana mo uyon ko pero if about cellphones and other items nga dili necessary, ok ra na. Mas maayo gali mas mahal pa ana para kanang mga walay kwarta dili maka palit dayon. Kay naay uban nga bahalag walay kwarta, ma update lang ilang cellphone para pangporma, payts na. Bahalag maka utang. Palit nlang ug cellphone nga tag 1,000 if tan-aw nimo mahal ra ang smartphones. Same ra man na maka communicate.

true, i agree. business thrives for profit. pero sa title pa lang sa ako thread, overprofiteering is evil. i may not be a bible expert pero nakasulat dyud na sa tinudluan na dapat mukita ka na sakto lang.

im not against profit really, im just against overprofit.

and for me overprofit, which is one evil is not a solution to a society's ill which is ignorance.

a lot really will disagree sa thread pero to each is own opinion. most would choose to be PATAY-MALISYA, well i chose to be VIGILANT.

It's business. They already own the item and it's their prerogative to sell it whatever price they want.

If I have a relo and I sell it for 1M, am I evil na? I think we better educate the consumers on buying what he needs kaysa wants. Why buy a watch worth 1M when you can buy the same that is worth 1,000? Again para nako if ang item is a necessity like bugas or tubig and you are selling it 10x the real price, and walay lain tao nagbaligya kundi ikaw ra, then that is EVIL. But for items nga people can live without, bahala nlang na mga negosyante if they are selling it 10x its real price. IMO

yes you are evil. kana ug mismo mai konsensya ka and for the whole truth you know how much the item cost. like i said, profit is good but not to the extent na mu take advantage ka.

a seller's prerogative? yes. but for the reason na because it's business? why, can't a business run with meager profit? at the end of the day, it all boils down to one thing: morals.

as to those who don't believe that morals cohabit with business, inyo sad na. gitagaan tag utok to choose what is right or wrong. and if marking or selling your 5 pesos worth of product to 100 pesos is moral to you, mind you: Isaiah 55:8

@likyam as we've said it's business. you do business and aim for higher profit and income. meager profit means business is not ideal. you invest something coz you anticipate that business will make your life better.

Businessmen never prioritize morals.

And, buyers also have the choice to buy the item or not. As a consumer you have to be wise in selecting things you buy. JUSTIFY it. If you think it's to expensive for your budget then dont buy it.
