because i think, only those who know football by heart wont shell out negative criticisms like that, cause they know its not that easy and what they've done is already a leap for the country's struggling sports sector.

or maybe, nasuya lang ta tungod sa exposure they are receiving when it comes to media coverage? and maybe because they're mostly half-breed?

IMO : Half blood players of Azkals doesnt play for philippine flag but they play for fame and popularity. They want exposure to send a message to other big football team in europe or america.

dont think so... some azkals players came from division 2 and reserve teams from europe, (e.g. guirado came from deportivo 2nd division in la liga, the younghusbands were from the chelsea reserve teams and academy even held the highest scorer title once, schrock came from a team in second division of bundesliga, paul maulders played for ado den haag in the first division of the dutch league; neil etheridge is from fulham united).. so why would they need to send a message to the big teams in europe when they were already there and the most scouts are there??

some of them even shelled out their own money making the trips here and there to fulfill their obligations to their european clubs and national club... so how would that suffice on playing for popularity and exposure??

philippines used to be a powerhouse in asian football... we are one of the reasons why japan changed their system in the grassroots level and launched the J-league because we beat them . cebu even hosted regular friendlies with european clubs before with sweden, spain, france, etc, and we played competitively with them. that's a philippine team playing with professional european club! and was right here in cebu, where the central bank is now located, yes it is a football field before.

so sa tanan na haters here, who are saying that most people are azkals fanatic think again, do your research. kamo ra nag himo sa inyo self nga BOGO tanawon ug paminawon kai mag pataka lang mo storya and comment. didnt even think that most of the people here who opposed to your comments are not Azkals fanatics, but football fanatics who saw and understand how hard it is to be a football player and appreciates what the azkals did. so screw you! you dont even deserve to be called pinoys!
