Sorry, I only saw this now. I speak and understand tagalog but I write better in english.

Pure broodfowl is necessary if your goal as a breeder is to produce uniformity in your fowl and maintain certain bloodlines over a long period of time. Pure fowl do exist but maybe a more appropriate term would be inbred fowl. Of course, all bloodlines are originally the result of blends but when the breeder starts to inbreed them to produce fowl uniform and looks and ability you can now consider them to be pure.

Now this does not go to say that you need to have pure fowl to be a successful fighter. Multi Cross birds are often deadly fighters and strong physically. I have an uncle who has an 8way cross that produced a 14 out of 15 win record! The only problem with constant crossing is your birds will be changing every year and you will not be maintaining a particular line, which ideally is the purpose of a breeder. If you just keep on crossing the fowl you have 20 years from now will be totally different from what you started out with.

Pure fowl is more expensive because they are harder to raise and a lot of planning and hard work went into the creation of the individual.

In my opinion the bottom line is. If you want to win a lot of fights you dont need pure fowl but if you want to be a breeder and maintain and fight a particular type of bird over a long period of time Pure fowl is needed.
