I'm was merely pointing out the difference between what I would consider abusing power (hapakon ka ug pusil) as opposed to getting hit in the face by a woman.
I would say her actions were a mix of anger and frustration. She certainly could have handled the situation better, but seeing na naa nay nanga angol, that probably was too much for her and she snapped. In her mind, it was totally unnecessary for someone to get hurt (at least that's how I read the article and by watching the 2 videos).
Another thought that came to mind was that she might have been playing to the crowd. Notice how the crowd cheered while the sheriff gets smacked in the face?
But if she had a gun at that incident, I don't think she would have shot the guy, let alone pulled out her weapon.
