Humans are created by his image and likeness (God)
The religion arguments are coming.
good, of course. i don't believe in the christian concept of the orginal sin
1 Corinthians 3:16: Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
Dalai Lama
I am convinced that human nature is basically affectionate and good. If our behavior follows our kind and loving nature, immense benefits will result, not only for ourselves, but also for the society to which we belong. I generally refer to this sort of love and affection as a universal religion. Everyone needs it, believers as much as non-believers. This attitude constitutes the very basis of morality.
religious note aside...
i think humans are neither good nor bad.
Its the society that dictates which is good and which is bad.
nature is just nature and we humans still fall under its umbrella
Individually we may be measured and labelled according to character, virtue & culture...all of it, at the end of the day still boil down to instinct--the very core of how we trully behave or act as an earthly being stripped down those racial, regional, cultural classifications.
We are merely "intelligent" beings above all terrestrial species and being intelligent or great thinkers cannot draw the line between good or evil.
same ra na if you see an alligator, shark or a lion bloodily tearing down a prey to morself---blood, guts spilling all over...
...would you look or see these flesh eating creatures as evil?
I don't think there's a definite or direct "yes" or "no" answer to the question
