When that time comes, it will only be logical that call center companies will transfer their operations to China.

Besides, there are certain areas in China that has liberal trade regulations that allow 100% foreign owned businesses to operate. That would be very attractive to American or European investors as compared to the Philippines where they are only allowed to own up to 40% (a minority stake) of a business.
Kani muy klaro. Mura ni atong time nga nag contest panira ang mga industries sa mepz

I agree and to add up, the call center boom in the Philippines has defintely passed and economist are saying it will be a thing of the past mainly due to 3 major factors; competitiveness, type of demand and technology.

Competitiveness: More and more countries, like China, South america and part of the eastern europe countries are now vying a spot to a get a market share of the call center industry. with the peso rising vs dollar @ 43, cost is not anymore as attractive compare to what it was 10 yrs ago.
Type of demand: It is projected that by year 2020 a percentage of bilingual consumers in the US will increase by 80% . And the demand for the bilingual centers will be on the rise. To justify the cost, they rather have a center that understand and speaks 2 language rather than one. Technology: With the fast pace technology and development, retailers website are now providing more service and communication options for their customers. With voice recognition technology now widely use and perfected to the customers demand, more more companies are willing to invest this type of technology in the coming years.

From what I heard, they are applying the methods used to train their olympic athletes. They start training kids as soon as they learn to suck milk. In this case, the little chinese kids are totally immersed into an English program and are specialized to American, Australian or British culture, and the teachers and staff of these special schools are all from the US or Europe. The kids are not even allowed to speak, or even hear Chinese.

There's no denying that Chinese entrepreneurs take business very seriously and plan well in advance. We need to improve our game here if we are to have any chance of competing globally.
