but he was once a man. and, like all men, he used to have dreams and ambitions. he used to have a pure and noble soul. but like all men, it was tested - and it was that test that turned the man into a demon.

and now, he walks, a demon of a man. rolling a 25 cent coin between his fingers. in this night, as in many other nights before, he reminisces of the day when he tried taking lady justice at her word - and she let him down.

they laughed at him, called him foolish. they are dead now but he didn't laugh when he killed them. that is fortunate - for when the dark man laughs, the city screams...
