    Default Citizen's Arrest

A law student asked a lawyer about the effectivity of CITIZEN's ARREST. He tried to make a "citizen's arrest" on a PUJ conductor who refused to accept some 25-centavo coins for fare. "Iya kong gikataw-an ug kana kunong citizen's arrest sa panahon pa ni atorni Paiburong," the law student said.

He was put to shame and wanted to push through his arrest threat but the conductor got off saying, "Diha lang usa ka torni painit pako."

Maka citizen's arrest pa ba ta karon panahona?

@TS: i once read a successful citizen's arrest but it was done by many not just one. and the crime committed is much more serious than what you have mentioned.

to think OA ra pd paminawon ng citizen's arrest ka tungod sa wala pg dawat ug 25cents. Dili man gani mo file ug criminal compliant ang isa ka company if ever mangawat ka ug property so long its cost is minimal kay sa acceptance fee palang sa lawyer lugi nka..hehe

naa pa ni pero why bother. people ignore our laws, some ignorant, others just want to violate them because our laws have no teeth. there are much bigger crimes nka maka ikyas sa bala-od, samot na ning ginagmay.

I hope for the better sa atong country

Klaroha sad usay reason sa conductor for not accepting 25 centavo coins, I don't think thats illegal, if nag bayad cya 7.5 then dili dawaton ang 25 cents then 7 lang e hatag, done.

Ayaw pag tugax2 Citizen Arrest kay Ice Peak ray ma dawat nimo, Dead Citizen ka. Gamita ang Utok, 25 cents is not worth it. If grabi ka kinwangol ang gi buhat sa conductor nig pa dagan na sa jeep nya naka bunhot na patiri nlang conductor aron human diritso.
