Dear all,

I dont get it why lagot kaayo mga tao if naay tortured or maltreated nga dog or cat. if naay mu eat dog meat. i know naay law against ana. but unsay kalahi sa inyung gipang kaon nga baboy, manok, isda? they all have life man pud. wala pud mu naka think nga gi abuse pud ang baboy. wala gipa lihuk sa ilang tangkal para mu tambok sila. lechon, gi unsa nila pag patay sa baboy, how they scream. why only care for pets?? why not go all out for ALL animals

You have a point here, but cows, goats, chickens, fish(that can be eaten) and etc are considered as livestock, im not saying they cant be pets, because i knw they can all animals can. Animals like snakes, dogs, cats, gecko, inverts and etc are known to be taken care of as pets all over the world and thers not a big no. of ppl hu eat them too. This s just wat i think

Its all in the perception of the person wether to classify it food or as pet

this is where I always scrutinize my "vegetarian wannabees" friends because I tend to make them ask this question:
A goat is a vegetarian animal, but not all vegetarian animals are goats, therefore Humans are not vegetarians.

we are born Omnivores, we will die Omnivores.

whats the use of eating vegetables that copies the taste of meat but the outcome is always bland? why not eat meat instead?

Afterall, our bodies need protein.

because dog lovers and cat lovers have a diff kind of bond with the said animal. they'll feel different if the dogs or cats get maltreated. thats what i think they are thinking ... but for me personally, its just part of life cycle. we are the predators and they are our prey. but i understand if theyll react that way because they dont think of them as pets but friends.. but i also think that sometimes they tend to over act...

Not in this case. What I'm trying to say is that you can make an animal your "pet" according to your will, nevertheless you can treat it as "food" because its a basic need.

yes I totally agree, we can befriend any animal even the deadliest and we can eat the deadliest too, its all in our free will but we as ppl hu hav morals shud think of the right decision b4 we go for the kill hahaha

Dog and Cats (especially dogs) were domesticated by man to be his companion. Sa history, dogs are man's companion sa hunting niya. Thats why, IMO, dogs are in the higher level of affection kaysa other animals. Other animals are our source of food (mostly)...

As to all animals?... Di lang unta ta magpadala aning mga veggan groups. I respect them but some of their radical point of views are borderline stupidity... Some of them just distorts the half-truth para mulabas na murag tinuod para lang maconvince nila ang mga tao.
