So I don't bias myself with saying that the Bible alone is the book that will show one to salvation.
The philosophy I follow is contains this: Our essence is that we are eternal living, and spiritual part and parcels of the Supreme Lord. Our position is that we are dominated part and parcels of the Supreme Lord, we can never be masters or lords. Our eternal function is that we should render loving service to the Supreme Lord. Isn't that what Jesus commanded as well?
Who's hiding anyway? I show you my philosophy. I again reiterate that I don't belong to any of the world's religions.
So you believe in a single verse in the Bible?
So your saying that christians read the bible but don't follow it?
The thing here is that the Bible is heavily misintepreted, and by not understanding or studying it how can we know that the commandments of Christ complete manner. Not only the commandments but his principles for life. The Bible is not just commandments it also contains explanations, and reasons and events that requires investigation.
Christ says love God with all your heart. if you take the Bible in a partial and incomplete understanding. Then its ok for you to kill other people since you just need to love god. This is why the Bible is severly misunderstood.
I'm not being biased as well with other religions. Christian doctrine teaches that we should not worship idols but only God.
However other religions doesnt prevent them from doing it they're even practicing polytheistic religion.
This is just doctrinal comparison.
