i have been running windows7 on my macbook pro's osx snow leopard via virtualbox (VirtualBox). virtualbox is opensource, but i think you have to license windows (or pirated, up to you), screencaps attached

Oh, yeah i have tried virtualbox on pc tried install mac osx on it but with no luck. I only manage to make windows xp and linux work. Before i also tried windows virtual pc but virtualbox prove to be much better.. Only one problem though, hardware integration and folder sharing..

I think VMware Fusion is much better than VirtualBox.

@kate16: yours is mac osx on top of windows, mine is the opposite. i'm quite happy with it, managed to make things work (hardware & folder sharing)

@technowar: i've not tried vmware fusion, is it commercial only? no opensource edition? virtualbox is free (opensource)

It's rather easy for windows on top of mac. But mac on top of windows has only little success story. Also very illegal since part of mac os x licensing, we're not allowed to install it on other machine, other than apple's. My main reason of trying it was to discover mac for myself. I've been using windows and explorered, repaired, tweaked, play around with it and was hoping i could do the same for mac. Maybe i will just wait for when the time i could afford a macbook pro.. Hehe.. i was also planning to learn how to apps for iOS but that was only possible if you have a mac so maybe ill just have to wait. Sayang wa ko kadaug sa lotto..hahaha
