tried OCing my phenom II x4 945 from stock speed 3.0ghZ to 3.4ghz, suway2 lang gud...nahan ta ko mo try reach sa 3.8ghz pero @ 1.45v na sad...yayay! d makaya sa ako board (low end emaxx boards 880G)
hibung ko gabii d na man mo post, yesterday morning nag crash daw as per the person last nag gamit (ako papa) so pag abot nako balay yataps na...sus na stressed ra d i maau ang procie ug rams sa cge stress test (prime95/occt).

pero next tym try na pud nya ta OC blik..alisdan sa ko ni board..payter!

by the way, ako max temp pag try nako oc 3.4ghz 50-55 max 1 hr prime95, ako push gamay to 3.5 mo bsod na or mo hangup if push gamay gamay like 3.45 or 3.475ghz.

at stock voltages, kutob ra jud 3.0ghz... if sakahan ang frequency kay mu error na after a few minutes with Prime...

What processor are you using? Sa intel at 97c mo thermal throttle at 103c thermal shutdown na.

103c? sure?...as i know of 100c palang dead na ang procie...

in that case, useless diay ni sila mag butang ug datasheets especially about max temps coz d man d i iconsider long-term effects ani. unsa man diay reason we get a better aftermarket coolers dba to lower the temps? and how low do you want it to be to gain more performance from the cpu or gpu? even phenom II has a max temp rating of 62degC, not that it wont run past that though but i dont need to explain the effects of heat, especially on electronic-circuits. im talking in lay-man's terms here ha aron dali sabton. kapoi kaayo nanag pabilib explain technical terms and magpabilib lang sa sarili...

maski stock speed ra but if you say power off the fans at 85c mo BSOD dayun?

dli xa mo abot 85c if stock speed. Mu abot xa 85 deg if i push it to 3.6ghz.... yup BSOD dayon...
