Thread: EIST and BSOD

Im also in the middle of researching and it seems that some BIOS versions implement an out of intel spec sleep mode or the makers are just too confident that SB can run at such low voltages for idle ( which is logical )

From what I've gathered this affects stock and overclocked systems, some guys can pass 200 runs of LinX with AVX and Prime Blend for endless hours but BSOD on idle/web browsing, they fixed this by either disabling all power saving or upping their offset voltage so that the idle voltage will never fall under 1.000v

In short just disable power saving OR try it w/o C3/C6.

i dont see a reason to set this manually to ENABLED when basically setting this to AUTO does what its really intented to do, which is to turn on power saving features.

@Earlz - yup if mu hit .9** idle volt ang system auto bsod! kay if under 5% ang load nako mu down to .9** ang volts, then if loaded 30% up dira na mu 1.***. btw that pic i posted on cpu-z dili ko totally idle ana, nag burn ko dvd on the background and other media stuff, fluctuating na ang 1.6ghz to 3.1ghz, timingan rana sa print screen.

anyways gi auto nalang nako aron wala nay labad sa ulo. lol as long as the system works fine then ok na.

    thanks werty for the response.
