I have this speedstream 4200 too. Its a crap modem. I use currently my spare pldt modem for the globelines and this works as it should...

i agree.. 4200 is really crap.. when globe changed my prolink modem with this one, problems started to arise.. now i want my prolink modem back but it seems they need valid reason to change it aside from being "crap".. they say if i can connect to the internet, then it's fine.. sooo noob for a network company!

at last they changed my modem.. it was supposed to be good news but the problem is they changed it with a more crappy modem, the speedtouch 511e... random disconnections and slow connection are mainly its expertise.. i requested again for a modem change, and this time, i want my prolink h9200 back!

about your SIEMENS speedstream 4200.... its nice unit... i have one now at my home using ethernet type.

may i ask you there are you types of SIEMENS... usb type or ethernet type? if usb, change it to ethernet type.

buy any model of DLINK router ...if you have 2 or more computer machinces to connect.

Globe personnel just called me later this afternoon and said that most of their seimens modem are having problems.. many users already requested for modem change ever since.. tomorrow they're gonna change my modem to Prolink (at last)!
