I am a World Builder

Time and time again, I've been looking for an easy way to explain what I do for a living, without much success--people still think I design webpages or operate some sort of online sales or graphics outsourcing firm. Nope. None of those.
It's really kind of annoying, and I get envious of other people with "regular" jobs, because of the fact that if you ask someone "What do you do?" and they respond with "I'm a call center agent" then there's no more need to explain stuff, and you don't get bizarre expressions of people trying to figure out if you're serious or not (i.e. "You say you uhm, build replicas of the Apollo Lunar Landing sites and let people roam around them like in a museum? Err riiiiiiiiiiiight").
So what do I do, exactly? Well, I help build worlds. Worlds and places inside a construct known as a "virtual world", 3D representations of the internet.
So here I go again, talking aimlessly and not knowing if you'll ever get it. But I've found the perfect solution for people to understand what I do.

Basically, what the guy did for the girl, is almost exactly the same as what I do for various clients around the world, albeit I don't wave my hand in the air, or push phantom primitives around--it's a lot more crude, the way I create stuff for now, but give it five to six years, and I may be doing my work in the exact same manner as to how the guy built the village in the video.
So I hope you understand my job better now. Thanks to Bruce Branit and his awesome "World Builder" video.
