Catch TV host- actress, best-selling author and now recording artist Alex Gonzaga live on Saturday, August 22, 6 pm at The Terraces of Ayala Center Cebu as she showcases her vocal prowess with bubbly and fun songs in her “I am Alex G” album tour.
Starting her career in ABS-CBN's sitcom “Let's Go,” Alex Gonzaga currently hosts “The Voice of the Philippines” and is a regular cast member of “Banana Nite.” Not just a versatile actress but also a budding writer, she recently released a book entitled "Dear Alex, Break na Kami. Paano? Love Catherine,” which is set to be adapted into a movie. Released by Star Music, “I am Alex G” album has six tracks including “Di Ko Akalain,” “Alam Mo Na ’Yan,” “Boyfriend,” “Break Na Tayo,” “Goodbye Kiss,” and her hit single “Panaginip Lang", all with minus one versions in the album.
Alex describes her latest work as fun and fierce. Taking Taylor Swift as her inspiration for her album, Alex wants to perform songs that are ear-friendly and uplifting. Her personal favorite track ‘Panaginip Lang’ has what she describes as the ‘Taylor Swift magic’ with a strong recall and upbeat feel. She doesn’t want people to just watch her sing, she also wants them to enjoy, connect and sing along to her songs.
