The aircraft's five primary sections, which consist of the nose, forward fuselage, center fuselage, rear section, and wings, are in the assembly process, with provisions made for electrical, water, and air systems. Once assembled, these sections will be transported to the final assembly line, where advanced onboard systems, ducts, and control cables will be installed.
Airbus conducts thorough quality inspections and tests during the assembly of the planes to ensure that each aircraft adheres to stringent standards and specifications. An additional eight A350-1000s are planned for production and are expected to be delivered to the Philippine flag carrier between 2026 and 2028.

PAL Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Atty. Carlos Luis Fernandez highlighted the strategic significance of this aircraft: "We chose the A350-1000 because it will allow us to match demand with capacity effectively. The new-generation aircraft is essential for addressing the needs of our expanding market, both regionally and internationally."
The revolutionary A350-1000 will usher in a new phase in PAL's trans-Pacific long-haul operations. Equipped with Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-97 engines, the aircraft boasts a range of up to 10,000 miles (16,100 kilometers), offering ultra-long-range connectivity with enhanced fuel efficiency and reduced carbon emissions.
Each A350-1000 can seat 382 passengers in a tri-class configuration, which features separate sections for Business Class, Premium Economy, and Economy Class travelers.
Currently, Philippine Airlines has 79 aircraft operational. In addition to the nine A350-1000s, PAL is expected to introduce 13 brand-new A321neo regional jets starting in 2026.
The global airline industry has endorsed the performance of the A350-1000, with numerous international airlines choosing this aircraft for the longest routes worldwide. Philippine Airlines is now joining this esteemed group as it embarks on the next chapter of long-haul excellence.
