Love Yourself Cebu relaunches its community center, Love Yourself White House, after moving locations during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Love Yourself, Inc., a not-for-profit, non-governmental HIV services provider, first launched LoveYourself Cebu on April 27, 2019. The launch established Love Yourself White House, the organization's first community center outside Metro Manila.
At the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Love Yourself White House had to move to a new location. Now that the COVID-19 public health emergency has been lifted, the LoveYourself White House has again found a new home, directly situated at 246 Don Gil Garcia St., Barangay Capitol Site, Cebu City. "This relaunch marks a new era of LoveYourself Cebu's continued efforts in championing its HIV advocacy," remarks Mitch Paca, the current clinic manager of Love Yourself White House. "We look forward to serving the community further in this new space."
LoveYourself Cebu White House also introduces its very own SPACES Café & Bar together with their media partners, ambassadors, and supportive corporate partners as an added venue to go to in Cebu, making the community center more welcoming and inclusive with its added feature to dine, drink, be with the community, and get tested.
LoveYourself Cebu is made possible through the collaborative efforts of various partners and sponsors of Love Yourself, Inc., including the AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF), Save the Children Foundation, Pilipinas Shell Foundation, Inc., and MACARE Laboratories. Their unwavering support ensures that LoveYourself can continue to provide critical services to those at risk of contracting and affected by HIV.
