The sea is a mysterious kind of recognizable and will continue to be so, for as long as you find magic in oceans and waves.
But the beach isn’t just best experienced with a heart of wonder; it is also best encountered with the right gear and apparel. Remember that the beach can be a dangerous place and exposure under direct sunlight can be just as damaging.
Here are a few reminders for when you plan your next sea water getaway:
1.) While it can be ego-satisfying to flaunt one’s much worked-on abs and curves, it is also helpful to remember that sun can be cruel. Once you feel that you’ve had your fair share of bikini and rock-hard ab pictures, consider wearing rash guards; but this isn’t to say that this option should only be thought of when you want to cover up already or are not confident to expose skin. Rash guards are essential to keep you from the painful sensation of being burnt, and of course, as the name implies, they also keep you from getting rashes.
2.) Always remember to bring a pair of flip-flops or slippers that you find comfortable to walk in. Never under estimate the power of good footwear at the beach, as the sand isn’t friendly at all times.
3.) Bring a good dry bag. Ordinary bags made of cloth and leather do not protect your things, and as a thrill-seeker wanting to savor every moment in the sea, that last you would want to have are wet things. Do not forget that many gadgets are allergic to water, and that keys, cosmetics, books and other carry-on contents are things that you should keep dry—at all times. Invest on a good dry bag and you will thank your future self for being responsible.
4.). Micro fiber towels are life savers. These kinds of towels feel better on the skin as they feel softer but are actually thicker and plusher than most commercial towels. These towels are scientifically proven to last longer because of their quality, so consider it something you can use for years on end.

5.) If you’re up for a tan or feeling the mood to dress down at the beach, don’t be afraid to show off. Just remember, though, that bikinis and board shorts come alive when worn. Other than design and trendiness, comfortability is a factor that should outweigh the first two. It is nearly impossible to feel satisfyingly good if your beachwear doesn’t seem right in the length and size department. Know your body type and find something that compliments your overall look and vibe.
6.) Sun glasses are a make or break. Be sure to wear a pair that doesn’t just help you accentuate your best angle, but also scream quality and durability. “Shades,” as Pinoys call it, are one of the most thrown around and dropped things. Make sure your pair (or pairs) stand out in all areas thinkable.
7.) SUN BLOCK. This does not need an explanation. Sun block is very similar to bacon, coffee, and chocolate. It is the answer to questions you do not need to ask.
